Barry House - what happens there?
Mick Mac replied to Mick Mac's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thanks LuLuToo (and everyone else) I guess it would be improper to suggest that these people should not be based at the end of my road. I don't suppose Holland Park or Kings Road has a Barry House equivalent? Why ED? Or should we be charitable and say, ok use ED as long as you like. -
Its terrible - I feel we have upset dearest Quids. Its been so long since his last post. I fear the endless comments about his girly hedging of bets has resulted in him taking offence and he could, I fear, leave us for good. Its been nearly 24 hours since his last post. I fear the worst, he has gone the same way as Dulwich Mum and TLS. Really, hedging your bets is quite sensible Quids, really there is absolutley nothing to be ashamed, nothing at all. Really.

Oh dear Goofy - if you are on the same horse as me you have little chance I'm afraid. :(

Has anyone mentioned Barry Manilow?

Oh and if I get up at 6am I'm usually knackered by 11am. So I stay in bed until 7.30. I hate sherry, is there a bottle of stella alternative? I'm completley negative - I think I need a teambuilding weekend.
-
I'm probably the target audience for this nonsense - I like to spend the whole day at my desk, I like to interact with others as litle as possible - and yes I do it for the money. When my firm does this type of thing though, we do it in the week - not in our employees' weekend time - fancy giving up your weekend for teambuilding - no thanks.

Its a close run thing between: Maria Callas and Bon Scott

Yes - I went to a catholic school - there was no way out - high walls all around. Any misbehaviour provoked an overreaction.

I think he's being honest, Arsenal are a selling club and he was sacrificed.

Would be amazed though if he did not get off, seems both groups were being aggressive.

im with immaterial on this silverfox. At certain times a bit of male conversation can relieve a bit of domestic stress. Keith was an interesting guy when you got to know him. Some barbers cut the same persons hair boys to men. They can get to know you quite well and keith had seen a lot of changes in ed. Id listen to his views anytime. A good guy.

Keith used to tell me about a friend of his whose wife was always pregnant - "oh, she liked the rod awight, that's for sure".

I have donemy own research and Danny Fox was picked on the Championship team of the season in the left back position so probably better than some premiership teams. I know Coventry are not in the premiership Matt, thanks again. I was talking about players choosing Cletic ahead of permiership clubs, and Fox reportedly had interest from premiership clubs, but he is obviously an intelligent chap, who does not mind the cold.

I prefer the Number 40 bus. It stops near my house. Who needs the 185, lets all stop getting on to it. Maybe they will appreciate us a little more if they have no passengers.

There's one for sale on Ebay Aura, with a big crack in it.

I used to go to Keiths and am currently patronising Sean at Barry Road barbers - any barber that cuts Timothy Spall's hair is good enough for me. But Jazz is open until 7.30 so I have found out today that I can get my haircut on the way home. Sean at Barry Road is good but it means taking time out on a Saturday - but many people in ED are self employed or work from homers so I guess they don't need somewhere that is open to 7.30 but I think its quite a bonus. Oh, by the way, mention Ryanair to Sean and he will rant the whole way through the haircut and its hilarious - we all think we hate Ryanair, but nothing like Sean does. Great fun, but if you gave him any instructions as to how to cut you hair he is likely to have forgotten. Also, there is a barbers in Victoria called Ryan Hair, I'm not sure that is a good marketing move.

The Winkle needs to learn to run faster, sooner. If he does that he'll cover the mile quicker, I think.

Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Stevie Gerrard Gerrard > He's big and he's fcuking hard Mick - sounds like you'll be supporting the Reds this season then! Not necessarily Matt - Its just I have heard this song about Steven Gerrard and thought it was rubbish as he never seemed that hard to me (not by Souness/Keane standards) - but he has now proved me wrong with this bar room brawl - he has a boxer's punch. Looks like he was provoked and the other guys elbowed him in the face before he retailliated, so i hope he is found innocent. I also think he handled himself well in court based upon the transcripts in tonights BBC news.

Celtic have bought Danny Fox: Does anyone know if he is any good? Have to say its nice to see some players going from England to Celtic, Martin ONeill was successful in attracting Premiership players to Celtic, Chris Sutton, Neil Lennon and John Hartson for example. Under Gordon Strachan noone wanted to join us so things seem to be picking up, Celtic should be a club thats capable of attracting good players. Anyway - anyone know Danny Fox?
