    OASIS -

I met my wife in 1995 and every bar in clapham was playing morning glory that summer everyone loved it. First dance at wedding was wondrewall. That have only done rubbish since but in 95 for a few short months they were as big as anyone has ever been.
  5. Might be worth looking closer to home first Matt- was he better than the man he replaced being kevin Keegan? He won 2 euro player of the years in a no 7 shirt. He was someone Liverpool thought they would struggle to replace and the reason they broke the uk transfer record to secure Kenny. It would be an interesting debate for Liverpool fans as Keegan was the original king of the kop.
  6. St Jean de monts this week and la rochelle next week. Yes there is an Irish bar but its a bit of a drive and not sure a BBC Scotland game will be on their agenda tomorrow night but Mrs m has said I'm ok to watch it if on but would feel a bit of a liberty on family holiday.
  7. Just relaxing Al fresco after evening bbq. France is nice and always find the French mostly nice too bbw.miss though the sport when on hols obviously would like to see the race tomoz and also celtic.but you can never have everything.nice to be in touch with edf though always good fun.

  9. Should have saved your funds for the big one tomorrow quids. Yes I am on hols but such is the power of the modern mobile device that I can still squeeze the odd glance at the forum between family activities. Let's watch him Rip through the field tomorrow!
  10. Matt - of course it was jock Stein who made Kenny a number 7 and taught him how to play. Stein said"the celtic shirt does not shrink to fit inferior players"sadly a fair few inferior players have worn the shirt since then buy yesk Kenny was one of the best number 7 s.
  11. Fancy it for a late season Sussex and arc double ! I have however just had a couple of glasses of vino and feeling generally optimistic.
  12. Good idea Sean and .do we know when the next one Is as yet MP?
  13. My money says it was a gamblers anonymous weekend away
  14. Quids rip.
  15. Bon chance rip.
  16. News has spread to France that celtic second string embarrassed spurs today. That should please atila. And another trophy for the bhoys. Ha ha . Premiership teams hold no fears for us.
  17. Well RD - I was still at work, but the reports suggest he played well - he came on in the second half. I notice thoough that Fortune has not scored yet, so I hope he is not a mistake. After all just because you can score in the English Premiership does not mean you can make the grade for the Bhoys...
  18. Gourmet Express 020 8693 0403 (upland road) Does Thai and Chinese delivery - all normal dishes - open until 12 Fridays - so be quick. I recommend the Gourmet Special Curry - had it last night.
  19. No cheese in the fridge Rosie? that you could take huge bites out of?
  20. Oh yes Keef - I was joking to an extent - but before I was into music (acdc etc) I saw a Manilow concert on TV and I thought Mandy was absolutley fantastic - a great song. RD - easy tiger.
  21. I have forgotten what team you support Matt - but I guarantee that whatever trophy is the biggest trophy your team has won to date, you will probably find, we won it first.
  22. No guys - I'm convinced he's gone for good.
  23. That all seems very well informed LuLu. Thanks. I don't mind as long as ED is not the only area dealing with this issue. On a wider political point - You may have guessed I'm slightly suspicious of asylum seekers as it seems a relatively new phenomenon. But I admit to being poorly informed, just suspicious.
  24. Yes Sean - I'm just having a little fun - No need to take it so seriously - its not even the road I live on. BTW - I bought the Guardian today - but I forgot to read it. I'm trying though. Buying it is the first step in the right direction.
  25. I get it ED - I get it. :) To entice him back lets make this thread 99 posts long. Hey Ed - I notice you are posting on Friday nights a lot - Now, I'm going on hols early tomorrow morning - what is your excuse? I guess you have kids? Or you can't miss Jonathan Ross?
