  1. Don't blame yourselves redpost! TFL charged ahead with the double decker 42 and it happened and it's good in some ways but not in others! Great that you are able to move out of the area! littledaisy, where did you settle in the end?
  2. Thanks Robert Poste! I signed up to Everyone Active in the summer but now don't fancy visiting the local leisure centres! It's put me off getting undressed/dressed in privacy so thanks for this post magnolia!
  3. bouquet
  4. Not sure when this was made but interesting and just started on BBC4!
  5. lollipop
  6. telly
  7. Denmark Hill Estate were still affected at 8pm and the other side of Denmark Hill on Sunset Road had no water.
  8. Also Government are cutting funding to all councils in London so they have to try to re-coup on services maybe. Mattresses seem to be a big problem these days in the letting system and there's plenty of them about. Not just in London (though in these parts there are a few about) but students/renters move in and don't want somebody's old mattress to sleep on so they are just left out on the street.
  9. Shame as I found Southwark Council's free pick up very easy on-line and pick up very reliable.
  10. I would start trying now to combat the thumb sucking and nose scratching. I wouldn't use a plaster on a 20 month old when sleeping as it's a choking hazard! but can understand you would try anything!
  11. Wow, terrible, and they knew you were there for your daughter to settle in! There must have been a manager or someone senior around hopefully to see what was happening and for you to talk to?
  12. There's a post above with a link to the sports club location and time.
  13. After us and our three kids being nearly crushed years ago at the brockwell park fireworks display, youngest being carried away on my shoulders in a manic rush for survival! we spent many years at the Dulwich sports club fireworks display; it does get very busy and also very muddy and cold and the queue for food is long but the fireworks are great.
  14. Agree Romnarz. If turning left when coming out of Sainsburys I would never venture into the bus lane but go over to the right to go up dog kennel hill. Then it's not difficult to indicate left at the top of the hill.
  15. There's one tomorrow at the Alleyn's Head pub car park. 9am-1pm
  16. pm'd you early this morning about a great venue which is in Herne Hill.
  17. All got a bit lost from the OP it seems
  18. Just checking back about somebody worried about their child's progress in Reception class but can't find the thread. Just wondering why it's not on the forum? Seems to have disappeared into thin air!
  19. Yes. Still love their tuna and cheese 6 inch hearty Italian toasted with lots of salad on top!
  20. I would have thought that as an 11/12 year old they didn't see it that way i.e. a pioneering group. It's bad enough starting secondary school let alone thinking about what goes on in the years above!
  21. Good information but the orange 3D effect of the title is a bit strange and I've got good eyesight! Also these tricksters/lowlife operate during the day as well.
  22. Suppose it depends how often you have all your windows cleaned inside and out but ?70 sounds alright to me.
  23. Thanks for bringing this to our attention puzzle. I would agree that traffic lights don't exist for cyclists (I'm sure we've all seen this in action if you drive a car) but beg to differ if you're a cyclist! I just hope that any cameras can capture situation like yours. Cyclists don't need any insurance so they have the upper hand on car drivers/pedestrians.
