  6. Moos it might have been that( brilliant) blog Refusal to bf not your prob I know but highlighting what's involved in a baby led bottle feeding session has a lot of lessons I think Anyway I had better go to sleep
  7. Brush the teat against the baby's cheek until he roots i did read something on a site about making bottle feeding as much a spossible like breastdfeeding i wish i had bookmarked
  8. Moos, get yourself to bed at 9pm and let Mr Moos change nappy, bring baby to you for feed, burp and settle. Don't stay up till 1130!
  9. Moos, I left our twins with a minder from 7m and they had never had a bottle really. She managed miraculously to persuade them... by virtue of some rocking, holding in a very firm snuggly grip etc. Getting a bottle (axifeed storage bottle) that you can squeeze slightly to push the milk out and reduce the need to suck might be a help. I have a few such bottles if you'd like one. Also best probably to try these feeds NOT when he's tired, and not when you're there listening getting stressed
  10. FM: if you're aiming for the 10am class and would like a lift, let me know.

  12. Double buggies aren't expensive if you buy secondhand
  13. Our twins were 2y8m when the baby arrived and almost 3 now. We DO use the double buggy with one twin on the front for most trips, though sometimes I take the baby in the sdingle and the twins walk. depends what the journey is. Buggy very useful if they need to be transported home when tired (or they want to nap) A single with a sling and a buggy board would probably cover your options though.
  14. CP One o'c club is probably your best bet. It has quite a big indoor area and when the weather is better, grass outside. Horniman music rooms is quite good for a crawler as well (though not really an activity) and swimming outside of Southwark where you have to have 1:1. A pool where yo8u can swim 1:2 if there is a session at the right time would suit you. Would be up for meeting at CP one o c club some time (on a weds)

  21. It will pass There have been studies that babies who are responded to when they cry end up crying less at 12w, and i think the same goes for any sort of reassurance/response to their needs.. she is learning that fundamentally the world is a good place where there is someone available to meet her needs. You will both reap the benefit of that reassurance for many years to come, long past the velcro baby stage
  22. I would choose a cafe as I have only a baby with me, but if others have toddlers who need to run about and the weather is good, thw wildlife centre would be nice (I think they do tea/coffee there)
