  2. Saw my sister and my niece today, boy does my niece have weird joints, splayed up fingers like a mole.
  3. Some services (such as statementing) will continue to be provided by the LA More info here: http://www.education.gov.uk/schools/leadership/typesofschools/academies/becominganacademy/a0061399/academy-funding The main disadvantage of academy status is the fragmentation of the education service, and the detriment to schools remaining within the LA as the money to be deducted from the LA budget will be more than actually gets passed to the academies in the area, due to the method of calculation to be used. It can't be right if a school in a well off area, doing comparatively well, creams off resources from the schools serving needier sections of the community. Sticks in the craw, somewhat, and hardly teaches positive values to the children. Too much "I'm alright, Jack" for my liking
  4. Ask James Barner on his thread...
  5. If we did a pm class it would need to finish by 3 so we could do school run but naps don't finish till past 2 there are music sessions at 2.30>3.30 at soup dragon - are they successful?
  6. Toilets at Gambados are also rathger inaccessible which is an issue if you have several toddlers to manage
  7. Having twins, I find Gambados just TOO much and have done ever since they got mobile. Unless you have one adult per child, you will go mad worrying where they are and they slide under the gate and try to get on the roundabout alone (or at least mne do) Bit of a no no for under 3 multiples in my view! We like Little rascals at Bellingham, our twins are 2 3/4 and have been OK to run about there since they were 2. Easier parking and much cheaper than Gambados (take a utlity bill so you can join up, it's not much but you get a big discount on etry) Gambados do a 3m season ticket well as an annual one btw
  8. Eurax cream is fab. Piriton liquid. Oatmeal for the bath Bf is quite protective against CP so hopefully baby won't get it x
