  1. I think is just a blot on one's credit file rather than an actual offence but is a step forward at least, cate, and guess clamping coukd also be used
  2. And if Andy the manager is reading this forum, I have always meant to write and say thank you to their staff member Rosemary who helped rescue me when I stupidly let my car battery go flat in the car park while pregnant and with 3 young children....
  3. Oh, I wish I could have been a fly on the wall when some of those lazy @#*&^%ers got tickets for parking in the baby spaces...

Do you need a hit squad ? Not sure the squeamish on the board want the full details but let's just say my bladder is yet to recover fully from the birth! Apart from that, I am doing OK actually having my BP monitored ... am in a sideroom and quite enjoying the peace while someone else brings me food etc and I only have 1 child to look after. Poor MrF is at home wrangling the others...
  5. Dulified, we had a toy that required standing to drop balls in the top and DS1 used to stand at it foir ages. I think any pull up to stand toy, or arranging things on a coffee table, will all encourage him to get on to his feet. Also, conversely, putting him in An old snowsuit and letting him crawl around in the park etc I think encourages mobility generally (and reduces the focus on walking itself) They ball get there in the end. There is no difference between my 10.5m walker and my 18m walker, now!
  6. I have been awake here in hospital more from pain than baby feeding... only got midnight till 4
  7. Ruth: congrats. I think you will find that if you stay indoors for a babymoon for a few weeks, by the time you are ready to get out and about, he wil be walking!!
  8. DS1 walked at 10 1/2 m Twin II (G) at 14m Twin I (B) not till 18m There is no rhyme or reason...
  9. nm: the amount of protein required is less than you think. but needs will be met from a varied diet with protein at each meal and dairy in the diet

  12. My almost 8yo is a veggy, 75th centile, quite fussy mind you He eats: bowl of cereal or 2 slices of toast plus fruit for breakfast, sometimes a yoghurt 2 small bits of fruit or one fruit and arge box of raisins at playtime Lunch is hummous sandwich, one large fromage frais, handful of salad veg (3 little tomatoes for eg) and a box of fruit - one of those indivdual servings of mango, for eg. Occasionally a flapjack or something like that Often has snack after school - fruit or bscuit Dinner is something like 2 fishfingers, large handful of pasta with butter, large portion of veg sometimes a yoghurt or mini rice pudding as a snack warm milk before bed

Hi, we only got home this evening (what a marathon THAT was after admittance Tuesday lunchtime!) and am having a few after effects of the epidural (the epidural i INSISTED upon before the synto drip, which is the same edpidural that DIDN'T BLOODY WORK!) 23. I think I would put the closest community school first then others in distance order, and use the box to say what criteria you have chosen under (sibling, closest community school, blah blah) Thing is you have by far the best chance at the closest community school than any other, so silly not to put it first.
