  1. I think you're confusing us with Sydders.
  2. True, and it's that fact which keeps most City fans' feet on the ground I think. Despite the vitriol from some parts about attitude I don't think many City fans have forgotten "Typical City" quite yet, although I admit to being excited this is the first time I remember for over 30 years when I'm thinking at the start of the season we may, may, have a chance of actually winning something or maybe a final anyway. btw Spurs away ?49.00? I'll be watching that on the telly.
  3. My T-Mobile never works at home on Melford, six months ago or now ;-) I quote enjoy the freedom brought by not having a signal at home.
  4. "Agger" do do do Push pineapple shake three. "Come on everyone..... just me is it?"
  5. Bit of both sides, don't start panicking people but a little reminder to be a little bit smart can't be a bad thing. For balance though - I haven't been mugged round here recently :))
  6. A finger of Fudge (it's just enough)
  7. 'My' Barclays bike flashes alternately either side on the rear, not sure where that fits in.
  8. Are these tickets for your car and you shouldn't have parked there?
  9. Like a lot of blues I'd rather Bellamy was staying but if it's true he's not had a conversation with Mancini for 6 months then I don't blame him. Having said that we'd be mad to sell him to a rival, Spuds especially. Ireland is one of the biggest victims of what's happened at Eastlands and I've previously posted elsewhere about my frustration that Mancini just doesn't know what to do with him. Unfortunately we seem to have just broken him and I think he'd be better off somewhere else, maybe Arsenal although that still hits the 'rival' issue. I'd rather have him in our squad than Milner though, and can't for the life of me work out how he could be seen by anyone as a potential makeweight in a deal for him. Nice to see us described as a classless rabble though for trying to catch up by spending over a couple of years what others have spent over a few years, what would you like us to do out of interest?
  10. Saw loads of moths tonight, Tiger Moths I believe. And also looking out for meteors....
  11. No, please, tell me more. (Sorry but this has been done to death, which one are you talking about)
  12. Jeremy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Cut it out DJKQ, local residents have already said > that they aren't bothered my the folk nights. One person on this forum has raised the subject of being disturbed, and that individual has said they don't mind folk music. That's one person. I tend to see DJKQ's argument, the license is the license and if it's being breached it doesn't matter if it's nosebleed techno or acoustic folk, or anything in between, shutters and windows should be shut and other terms followed otherwise they're in breach. As she says if we ignore that then it just becomes an unregulated free for all and we may as well just have raves in the car park (which I'd fancy..)
  13. Watched it, fell asleep shortly before the end. In a more considered version of the post this replaces I thought most of the new ones did OK ish, was particularly impressed with Young and Johnson (although I would say that). Dawson doesn't convince me though and did nothing last night to change my mind.
  14. Coppell bottles it again http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/bristol_city/8908308.stm although at least he gave Bristol City longer than he gave Manchester City

Would that change the facts then? Ridiculous comment.
  16. Bit on O'Neill here - "spiralling wages" and "bigger than the club" are phrases used.. Sorry, link here http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/10/martin-oneill-aston-villa
  17. SS - you're obsessed. Get help.
  18. Watching City absolutely rip Spuds to pieces on the telly, but still manage not to beat them as we never do no matter what. My worry about Iggy is the puppet in the insurance ads looks too much like him.
  19. Le Nandos
  20. Someone please tell me this isn't a serious thread.
  21. A celeb journalist eh? Who are you then?
  22. Anyone else thinking of the bit in The Damned United when Clough is shouting "You weren't supposed to accept my resignation! "
  23. I'm pleased it's not a competition, otherwise people might start digging over things like house prices and who's the smuggest.
  24. Depending on work I'm planning on heading out on Tuesday also.
  25. I'm sure a domestic shredder could handle it, the question is whether you can..? 1) Buy bottle(s) of (whatever you fancy) 2) Start DVD(s) of your choice 3) Get shredding I'm guessing you'll need what, 3 bin bags for your 1 of unshredded material? Think of it as an opportunity to watch that box set you got for Christmas and never found the time. As for as 'any tips appreciated'... I had to go through the above process recently. So my tip now is 'shred as you go'..
