From the Swine Flu in SE22 thread - Re: Swine Flu in SE22 Posted by: ???? Today, 07:42PM Allfornun will be going up the wall with indignation.... ------------------------ I lol'd
  4. I feel pretty close as we very very very nearly moved into DKH so I keep trying this Sainsburys. I'm an average fellah with average needs, not too fussy, but at 4.30 - 5.00 on a Saturday I expect shelves to be full, stackers to be busy, a cage to be on the shop floor being worked not just sat there. Forest Hill gets knocked on here but is a million times better at meeting expectations than DKH.
  5. You, sir, are an absolute star. My daily commute is outside your aegis in Forest Hill. This weekend though mrs ruffers and I travelled via East Dulwich station (what with the Forest Hill line being a bit kerry packered) and we are about to move so that becomes our commuting station. In that innocent and freshly ojective way we observed that - We had no idea what and when and whatever the trains were till we got to the platform - can this "next" "expected" etc funnel down nearer the ticket office? Being good citizens we had bought tickets in good time but it appeared there were stragglers who weren't sure how long they had.
  6. Now that's a link.

Super Sucker Ram Air, that's my favourite http://www.acronymfinder.com/SSRA.html
  9. Sky plus is great. 15 quid isn't, I found myself searching the undercard for some value. Oh dear Ricky.
  10. Although I only spend money there once a month, I spend money there very time I'm there at 7.30 in the morning. Is it a chain?
  11. I'm with Sean - can't see how you can cut something which doesn't exist yet? And the secrecy that no one knew about it? Does that mean what I'm having for my tea tmorrow is a secret cos only me and mrs ruffers know? Genuinely struggling to get too agitated at this. Higgins all the way/
  12. With a pop-o-matic dice arrangement
  13. So - you've chosen to get rid of this thread where there's a lot rubbish being talked and where does rubbish go? And the Horniman is a place visited by lots of people again creates large amounts of rubbish. Congratulations! You got rid of the car.
  14. People who don't find things in the last place they look
  15. There's different grades of it, the prices vary drastically between them. UMF factor or something they call it, I bought some when I was in NZ for a fraction of the price here. Nice honey. All that UMF stuff is a load of old pony though I reckon.

What do you make of the comments? > Swap Aren't Virgin promising up to 50 meg in the nearish future? Can't do that with a regular dsl or 2 modem I don't think. Maybe they're just supplying a new modem bearing in mind we've already cleared up that they track all your activities anyway in the unlikely event they wanted to.
  17. People pronouncing H as 'haitch.'
  18. I've got clippers at home expertly wielded on occasion by mrs ruffers but I do like a trip to the barber. Takes me back, sitting on a bench put on the seat when I was a kid with my dad at the back of the shop, I felt all grown up. Not your mum cutting your hair, proper man's barber. But when you're a kid your ears always stick out.
  19. Pixies I reckon. Vermin and should be treated as such. If it's oompa-loompas though you need to give them a cup of cocoa.
  20. Spuds vs City Joey Barton sent off on the way to the dressing room at half time 3-0 at half time. 3-4 at full.... Feb 4 2004.
  21. This is where we need a poll function... Or I like Grazia, and I like The Economist, but which is better? There's only one way to find out...

Agree with you for the most part but why do you say asking about salary is unprofessional?
  23. Venus in Furs Dunlop Advert, that was a good 'un. The old goth in me and the cheekbones now hidden in me under middle age puppy fat keep coming back to Pete Murphy and "Maxell, break the sound barrier" though.
