  1. and fed to American cattle.
  2. Yes the horses where there - and they looked so clean and healthy, really beautiful - I was used to moth eaten old mangy lions in my youth at any circus I attended. They also had a really sweet budgie act yesterday.
  3. Might have to go and check them all out now! I had a great time. Haven't laughed so much at clowns before either. They dragged three guys up to do a ballet dance competition. Was funnier thanit probably sounds, my head was hurting from laughing so much. My moody ten year old loved it too. I'm now a circus convert!
  4. I went to the circus this evening and was totally blown away. I haven't been to the circus in the UK for years. Gone are the manky costumes and sickly looking animals. This was brilliant. I'm still in shock after watching the sexy Colombian, Chico's death defying leaps on top of some huge spinning see saw thing. Went with a friens of mine who'd never been to a circus and he's hooked now! Did anyone else know that the modern circus is so good?
  5. I used to be a panel member of the safer neighbourhood team in SE1 when I lived up that way because I was chair of our community centre. How would I get onto the panel here in East Dulwich because I would like to ask them to do more about the threat of death and injury by drivers than chasing people who cycle on pavements or don't pick up dog crap. Cycling on pavements may be annoying and dog crap is unpleasant, but they are hardly life threatening.
  6. Some little idiot guy grabbed my bum the other day and jogged off as I swore at him. I am pleased to say another guy came over and got angry with the bum grabber on my behalf. I didn't actually need the back-up but it was nice to know that he was ready to intervene and gave me some moral support as I continiued to F and blind for about ten minutes more.
  7. The problem is the fact that roads are not safe for all road users. If drivers respected cyclists as legitimate traffic, instead of just thinking they are blocking traffic (them), then maybe cyclists wouldn't need to cycle on the footpaths.
  8. I cycle to Hammersmith every day to work and am totally pissed off with the number of dangerous drivers on the roads who think that it's more important that they get to their job 5 minutes early at the risk of a cyclist like me not making it at all. I don't care if you have to juggle kids and work, so do we all, but I don't endanger peoples lives whilst doing it.
  9. Something needs to be done about the dangerous drivers around East Dulwich. I cycle and so does my 10 year old, there are way too many parked cars and other cars going too fast through small streets in this area and it makes cycling with kids very dangerous. Cycling should be encouraged for health, environmental and road safety reasons, but unless something is done about the amount of parked cars, school run driving and terrible parking and the speed of car drivers in East Dulwich, danger to cyclists and pedestrians will not improve. The 20mph zone is a start - but people do need to police it. We need double yellow lines near to junctions because drivers egnore the highway code and park wherever they like and we need traffic wardens and PCSO's to police the school run madness of the local primary schools at dropping off and picking up times.
  10. There are quite a lot of local curency and time bank schemes around which are a good way of trying to get economic growth outside of the top heavy licenced money printing scams of National currencies. They all have problems such as forgery and unenforceabilty issues but can be quite succesful. I forget what the biggest one is called, but it does help re- generate local businesses.

  12. I'm getting more pissed off with selfish, dangerous car drivers as I get older. They cause death and injury in the thousands every year but are left to carry on making our cities dangerous to live in. People get up in arms over the deaths caused by drugs, guns, knives etc but because the weapon of choice of the majority of killers is something so many people have become dependent on, ie a car, nothing is done to restrict their freedom to maim and kill. Makes me sick.
  13. Lovely pics - I'll have to get there with Hannibal next year - I had another thing to go to this year.
  14. If I'd known they had a pool table I would have dragged myself away from King Henry and kicked your arse at pool!
  15. Was going to go, but sexy whatisname was on the Tudors, so slobbed out in front of the TV instead!
  16. I miss *Bob* too.
  17. It's full of old farts!
  18. Dazie - I totally agree. I'm a hard task master with my own lovers and expect them to know what to do when I tell them, but some women are in relationships with men they love, but the sex is not really great. I want to help those kinds of people to understand how to make their sex life more fullfilling. I imagine they may be a bit more patient with their men than either you or I would be, because their relationship is based on more than sex (unlike my own past relationships)!
  19. I could start off by doing an agony aunt type thing on here - look I already fixed Hal's problem with my simple logic. Come on guys and gals, fire away with your questions of a sexual nature, all tips and hints on here will be free of charge!
  20. That can be a problem. I think permanent marker is a better option.
  21. I was on the Dr Pepper - but wanted to tempt some of you reprobates!
  22. Err, I did most of it. Inadequately trained Daizie, not really their fault if no-one tells them where the g-spot and the clitoris are.
