  1. I think some of the more flavoursome posters make the forum worth reading, but then I always did like a scrap.
  2. Not all lawyers work for the rich, some like me, fight for the rights of the most vulnerable and marginalised in our society, so please don't lump us all with the bankers
  3. Not sure why it would look better for you husband to be watching gay porn than your teenage son.
  4. Why is everyone asuming that it couldn't have been Taqui Jaqui knocking one out whilst watching porn? I am sure they said Mr Taqui wasn't at home on that particular evening.
  5. What really gets me tho is that she was one of the mysoginist so-called-feminists saying that all prostitutes are victims and all clients are abusers, plus trying to ban hardcore porn and there she or her old man are knocking one out watching something she wants to vilify.
  6. Canada and Merseyside.
  7. The trainspotter one got me laughing.
  8. I always thought having a whitey was throwing up.
  9. Cross training - doing other activities other than weights is a good way to ensure you minimise overwork injuries on any particular muscle groups and weight training is really beneficial to older people whose muscles start to atrophy with age. You just need to make sure you do the whole body equally. I always work on the opposing sets of muscles when I do weights, plus cycling, some fitness classes, a bit of running, occasional swimming and I've just gone back to Taekwondo once a week so I think overall I am not overdoing any one set of muscles in a way that will cause injury. My body is far from perfect, but I feel healthier and more energetic when I excercise, and I feel very sluggish when I don't, especially now I'm in my 40's.
  10. I'm stunned. I was unaware that anything in ED might cost less than a pound. I feel betrayed. I may have to look for a council swap to Clapham, i feel so wounded.

  12. Best jerk pork ever was in 1996 just outside Mandeville on the road from Mandeville to Negril in Jamaica. Little hilltop bar and jerk stand overlooking lush mountainside rainforest. The Jerk pork was so good, I nearly turned back the car 20 odd miles later to go back and get some more. Went back last year and the jerk stand is a bigger more professional operation and the jerk pork was mediocre. I was sooo disappointed!
  13. been to Australia.

  15. When and how much will it cost?
  16. I've put gooseberry bushes and raspberries in my shady bits. I'll let you know if they produce any fruit this summer.
  17. I'd rather have juries than judges deciding issues of fact, but realise that innocent people are sometimes convicted and guilty people sometimes get off with it.
  18. Get revolting!

I have seen enough criminal trials of clients we defended to know that the jury do get it wrong.
  20. I've never watched it before, but somehow couldn't avoid some of it this year. It seems to last for weeks now. It's a bit irritating but glad they are doing something positive really.

The cleaning products are good quality and they even do a vinegar eco-cleaner now. I get my weekly shop in Lidl except for fish and wholegrain rice which I buy in Rye Lane and whetever I grow in my garden.

  23. I didn't think anyone would buy tickets to see him because he is a disgusting guy, but a woman I work with is a total fanatic and queued up to buy 5. She isn't even going to sell any, she wants to see him 5 times. She wouldn't have it that he's a peado or even that he bleaches his skin - so I think that even if he was found guilty, people like my workmate would have still gone to see him if he was allowed to perform. Incomprehensible to me, but there you go, they are fanatics.
  24. Quids, thousands of people travel around the capital with their kids, including babies, on public transport - at least you don't have to fold the buggie up anymore on the bus like you used to. I did it with my first two who are only 16 months apart and had to juggle buggie, shopping and two small babies on the old fashioned buses. You adapt and develop strong arms! And now with my granddaughter I have found it so much easier to take her out on public transport than I ever did when my kids where small, even with bags of shopping. I also have a bike trailer to pull her around for short journeys and my daughter has a bike seat for her. Unless you are disabled, there is really no excuse for having a car in London, it is a luxury, not a necessity and if you ever do need to use a car occasionally, street car or 1car1 is a cheap way to do it, but you find that when you don't own a car, you get used to not needing one, so rarely rent one either.
