  1. I'm easy. I also have no preference of drinking venue.
  2. Ahh yes, modern technology, the perverts greatest weapon:
  3. Not wishing to be tarred with the "perfect liberal" brush either (although wouldn't it be marvellous?!) but I agree entirely, Pierre. The type of hysteria whipped by the tabloid press surrounding child sex offenders is abhorrent and shameful. Rampaging lynch mobs through our town centres are a poor inditement of a supposedly civilised nation. To keep this ED specific (for now at least) do local rags like Southwark News or the SLP indulge in the same sort of shit-stirring? I never buy them so wouldn't know.
  4. Nice one Jaws/Nic. So what, prey tell, are you doing in the world of finance. Answer with care; some people on here will spit at the mere sniff of a hedge fund! Congrats. :)-D
  5. Ahhh, marvellous. There I was worried I'd been forgotten about!
  6. I need series 4 goddamnit! Someone help me, please!
  7. Or perhaps the bus driver braked for something. You know, rather than trying to injure you purposefully. Just a thought.
  8. God I hate people who don't use search engines ;-) Rant over.
  9. Third for Chez Bruce if it's a special treat. If not there then a place in Balham called Lamberts round the corner from the station, that's very good.
  10. I'm quite fancying a curry Mike. Count me in.
  11. Holy crap. If anyone else has just watched the 100m final....wow! That's the greatest ever sprint performance and the man didn't even try for the last 10m. Incredible. I can see Michael Johnson's WR in the 200m being under threat now, and that record is almost superhuman. Usain Bolt, take a bow that man. THAT is what makes the Olympics great!
  12. I'm still in awe of a man who has so much porn he needs to alphabetise it. Gay or straight, that deserves kudos! I'm quite comfortable flirting with men or women, gay or straight, (provided I've had enough to drink). Whether they're as happy about it, I have no idea.
  13. Actually, this IS quite good: Aerosmith ft RUN DMC - Walk This Way
  14. Up until I just went on holiday I would say public transport but I'll give you this info: if there is at least two of you a cab will be cheaper - the Gatwick Express is ?18 per peson one-way, plus the faff of getting to and from Victoria with bags; a cab from Panther Cars on NorthCross Rd will cost you ?45 door-to-door. I don't know about the other options but that seemed reasonable for a cab at midnight on a Thurs/Fri.
  15. The 80s! Fecking ay! Can't beat it. All the best were born then.... Oh, and we got this: Kiss - Crazy Crazy Nights and this:
  16. Aye, and people will have "Emms&Robertson Fever" now. It'll be like trying to find an empty tennis court in Wimbledon fortnight.
  17. People who work in think-tanks are known as "wonks". Tells you everything you need to know, really.
  18. Enduring Love - McEwan Catch 22 - Heller Ragged Trousered Philanthropists - Tressel The Spy That Came In From the Cold - Le Carre High Fidelity - Hornby Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenace - Prisig Catcher in the Rye - Salinger Brideshead Revisited - Waugh Wild Swans - Jung The Goalkeeper's Revenge & Other Stories - Naughton The Machine Gunners - Westall Of course, all of these (with the exception of WIld Swans) is fiction. I'd like to know people's non-fiction habits as well. I love historical and political accounts. The best I've read recently being Anthony Beevor's two books about Stalingrad and Berlin during WWII. Amazing.
  19. Sssh. Don't give away the last vestige of pride of such a blighted county.
  20. To allow for the infamous Surrey-stammer of course. The sign of true aristo-inbreeding!
  21. I know I moved here from Surrey darlings but can no-one just pronounce South as it's meant to be? Sou-th. None of this glottal-stop business. Could a glo-al stop be self descriptive?
  22. http://blog.ugo.com/images/uploads/bigtrouble_screenshot.jpg Piers, thank you just for reminding me of Kurt Russell's finest hour! I LOVE that film!

Definite myth it would seem. Sounds a little far-fetched anyway doesn't it. Why would the organ harvesters let you live. Much easier just to kill you and harvest all your organs I would think. Perhaps a liver with a nice bottle of chianti and some fava beans....mmmm
  24. I know what I'm about to say is flippant, but I can't help it. Do you think you should be paying that close attention to cyclists' helmets? ;-) I'll get my coat.
