However, if a purported member of the Inner Circle fails to present his/her right hand in token of friendship and brotherly/sisterly love and "grip" as s/he utters the above words, admittance shall be denied.

I, too, hope this isn't the death of the Forum Drinks, as they are good fun. Georgia, I have said it before but I'll say it again. Thank you for all your efforts each month. They haven't gone unnoticed or unappreciated - even though it might (perhaps) feel like that to you. I notice (via CitizenED's post above) that Michael Pallywotsitoos has also been responsible for organising these events. I wasn't aware of this, and if this is true then my thanks go to you too Mr. P. Roll on September!

  10. Thought this post-election article interesting. Unfortunately, Labour appear to be excluded from current talks vis a vis a coalition government. My concern is that, although the Tories spoke about a fairer society etc. pre-election, I have doubts regarding their sincerity/political will on the matter. Certainly they have already stated that they oppose some of the provisions in the new Equality Act and, moreover, that they will not stand by them if they come to power. Oh dear...

  20. There once was a poster called Daizie, Who some thought a little bit crazy, She talked about poo, And having more than one loo, Which sometimes made my brain go hazy. But now she is ill, And unable to "chill", Her fans miss her wit, Albeit bum-tit. She can't post at the mo, And we miss her so, And I'm feeling on edge, Think - the state of her hedge! Oh Daizie get well, Come back and give hell, So we can get pissed, Coz you truly are missed.

  25. Well thank heavens the Blues didn't get in - a small mercy. I don't feel so guilty over having voted Green now...indeed, well done Greens...hee hee. (Sorry Keef/Loz, I had a panic attack at the last minute :-S; but thanks ????/brum for giving me that push to vote with my heart and not get "sucked" into voting tactically). I don't think the reds did as badly as predicted. As for the Yellows...ha ha ha...that will teach Clegg to be so smug (bordering on cocky). BNP? I won't even waste my breath. I'm happy.
