Just because he's young and gay does not mean he'd be "practising a particular lifestyle" that's just a sweeping generalisation.
  2. How on earth do luncgs fill up with fluid? Did he drink too much liquid?
  3. woop woop congratulations
  4. I think you also need to consider the business of the traffic on your road. Fostering sounds ike a good idea.
  5. My boss when he says hey man and c ya bye (sounds like text speak so I've written it as text speak even though I despise txt spk) when he's on the phone to clients. He's an oldish technologist so it just doesn't fit.
  6. It's the same as when someone breaks into your house and you have to pay for a window to be replaced. Rather unhelpfully I was told by a police officer when I asked about getting my window boarded up for the night that I would have to pay, but if I lived in a council house it would be 100% free. It was something I didn't particularly want to hear at the time, I think he was just trying to make conversation to cheer me up. I feel your pain, it really is frsutrating, but I guess someone has to pay for theses things. I hope it gets taken away soon.
  7. Teds wins on colour usage, but Brendan's pyramid is a classic with the use of serif and sans-serif fonts so is ultimately the winner in my eyes.
  8. Good point BN5.
  9. Amazing, do you keep it ont eh shelf above the TV for easy access?
  10. Why on earth have the rest of boyzone flown out to Spain? What use will they be there? I could understand if the funeral was going to be held there, or if that is where Stephen and his family lived but he'd only been in the country for a few hours with his partner. Does anyone else think they're doing it solely for the media?
  11. Seeing as there have been a lot of posts on here saying they didn't realise how much hard work goes into the forum I thought I'd point out that there's a very small donate button at the bottom of the pages! I'm only saying it because I didn't notice it until someone else pointed it out. Have a great break
  12. bbc rate predictions article interesting article.
  13. Oh that is very sad, I used to have a poster of him on my wall.

  16. Hello everyone. I came home at 11pm tonight to discover a man attempting to climb through my living room window that he had just smashed. I shouted at him to get out (his head was through the window) and he slurred i'm sorry and I shouted at him again to get out. Anyway I shall try and cut a long story short I rang 999 and the police turned up within a few minutes and caught him - although he was incredibly drunk and hadn't entirely made it off my property. All the police officers were very nice and it can't be what they joined the police for especially as I heard he threw up just after he'd been taken away. They think he was just a drunk homeless man trying to find somewhere to sleep in my house or to get arrested so he could sleep in the police station. Also apologies to anyone who we've just woken up with our electric drill making safe our window - it was very noisy!
  17. Sorry just re-read the posts and I find a bit mean. I found it helpful to see the route.
  18. This is probably a stupid question but here goes: I thought it wasn't an official map because the east london line isn't technically a tube line so would only be on the extended tram, train etc maps? It's in the same line style as the DLR so I'm confused, is it somewhere in between a tube and a trainline?
  19. Well I would prefer the South London Line stayed if I had to chose between the two.
  20. Oh good grief, what a plonker, I hadn't noticed the attach a file button before. Thanks very much Ted!
  21. No then! When I press the attach image button it says Please enter the URL of the image you want to add but it's on my desktop so doesn't have a URL I'm using firefox 3.5.3 on a mac if that makes any difference. Any advice would be lovely. Thanks
  22. Hello I'm hijaking this thread to practice attaching a photo because I'm having a dumb moment! Does this work? http://desktop/SNV32348.JPG http://file///Users/sophiesofa/Desktop/SNV32348.JPG http://Users/sophiesofa/Desktop/SNV32348.JPG I'm trying some more but I don't think I get it still!
  23. Will you be signing autographs? ;-)
  24. I'm scared of dogs (even when I'm not in East Dulwich LeagleEagle-ish ;-)) and it does annoy me when dog owners say things like he's only playing and don't really do anything about it i.e. call their dog away from me. I don't stand their and cower, I do try and just ignore them but I don't like it one bit. But I do understand that it's kind of my problem and I don't think all dogs should be on leads or anything but some owners really do need to be more aware of their furry little/big terrors.
  25. Sorry slightly off topic but ebay can be incredibly entertaining like this ad I just saw when I was perusing for mirrors ebay mirrow pants man It's not as good as the naked man reflected in a tiny mirror that went round on emails a couple of years ago though! I suggest give ebay a go just to see how you get on - I like it!
