I like the drawing room, but you do have to be in the right frame of mind to go in there. I'm not very eloquent so I do find it a bit intimidating. I quite like the chairs frequency of posts. What I'm unclear on is where boring questions should go. For example I posted a very boring question about pensions in the wanted section because I just thought it was far too uninteresting to be in the lounge. I think there are enough rooms already so I don't think anymore should be added because it reduces the chances of stumbling across something of interest. I don't know why I have posted this because I have no solution to propose. I would just like to say that I love the forum, so thank you admin and team for all your hard work.

Yes I also want to know about this a third off rail travel! Nero, I'm sure you realise this but just incase, the zone extension on oyster only works at stations where they have oyster fully set up so it wouldn't work at places like forest hill yet, but works at all tube stations (i think). Chez, I think you should do a test month of rail season ticket plus say ?30 on your oyster and see how it works out. I assume you work the usual work hours but if not you could use your YP discount for your rail ticket.

I get very little posted junk mail at all. I think the vast majority of junk mail is sent electronically or posted through the door locally. I love getting post (not so much the bills). I wish it was still the days of knowing your postie, but it seems to be a different one everytime. I think they have lost the pride in their work that they used to be famous for. Last week a postperson bizaarly posted our letters under our garden gate (in the rain) so I got home to a pile of soggy post. I don't know what the solution is though because it just isn't cost effective anymore.

He is beautiful and well worth all the pain and worry! Sounds like a hurrendous birth though and I hope you heal and feel better soon. -

What is this about a third off all rail trips? I had one a couple of years ago and I never knew about that. So anywhere is the UK you can get a third off? That's amazing. Chez to me it sounds like a rail pass and pay as you go oyster would work out cheaper than a zone 1-2 travelcard but obviously it depends how often you go out and about.

Some conflicting witnesses but whatever happened sounds like it involved at least one dangerous/prat driver. My thoughts are with the two men and I wish them a swift and full recovery.

Brilliant post Vik, I completely agree.

Ladymuck, it's a brand of bra that has (possibly had) the slogan 'hello boys'. A wonderbra hoiks boobs up and in giving a high cleavage and I should imagine they are not the most comfortable of bras. They're the ones that don't have any fabric between the elastic on the back creating a sort of stretched X shape on the back and in the 90's they used to be worn with see through tops. My sister had a t-shirt with hello boys written on which I might have to remind her of. Are big boobs still in? I feel bad for saying the stall seemed to only sell wonderbras, i'm sure it doesn't, that's all that caught my eye (and no i didn't buy one!) they probably do pretty undies too. Good luck FAIRIES AND FLOOZIES I shall take a look at your facebook page. -
geneverve how did you do it? I would have gone for the train then jubillee option because it comes out right in the o2 closely followed by train to london bridge then maze hill/charlton. I've tried a bus to lewisham then dlr to cutty sark before (for greenwich centre not the o2) and will not try that one again, it took forever.

Oh that's so sad, his/her poor family. Not at all nice for the poor people who have to deal with it either.

We've got virgin and we had countless issues when having it installed inluding being sort of verbally abused in our own home! I think I spent in excess of 3 hours on the phone or emailing them about the installation cock ups and the man concerned has since been 'disciplined' but it still makes me angry just thinking about him. On demand is great but I do agree with bigbadwolf that the freeview set up is tacky and the remote is very cheap feeling but then I suppose it was free so you can't really complain. We've just got the cheapo package which works fine for us.

Blimey, glad everyone is ok and thanks for letting us know.

Another transport one too. People who get on the train before people get off. I have been known to have a word when this happens. -
Please somebody pull out my wisdom teeth now.......
sophiesofa replied to Kells's topic in The Lounge
I had all four of my back teeth taken out in one go to make way for my wisdom teeth to come through and my teeth were too strong to be pulled out so the dentist went upstairs to get an implement called cow horns (i think it was while ago). He'd never had to use before and had to crack my teeth into bits one by one and there was blood everywhere. But on the plus side I was so full of injections that it didn't hurt. It's weird getting used to the 'holes' where the teeth were but it will definitely be worth it. I'd never heard of clove oil but it sounds great. Good luck, it will be worth the wait! -

I also thought Timsters post was good. There's also a very small factor that most desk jobs allow you to work from home if you're feeling a bit crap. -

I also think it is an ice cream place, the ceiling looks really good! -
Go with number 1 but work extra hard during the week so you don't feel guilty about taking time out to have fun. ALso check the weather forecast before deciding.

People who are disgusted by people bitting scellotape to rip it annoy me. It's not like I lick it or anything. -
