I object to being referred to as a lady. The more I hear lady/ladies being used the more it grates on my sensibilities. I know it's scary and intimidating for some but seriously, get in the 21st century. I'm a WOMAN.

But sadly, that glimpse of a fleeting deluded dream can reverberate through the rest of their lives and lead them to some sort of expectation of fame and fortune without them actually having to be a valid member of society. This in turn leads to depression and torpor and .....oh my god.... I'm giving too much away.

Another error I notice all the time now in written speech, is people saying "I should of done that" or "I would of done it" Bah.

Language is a fluid thing people, otherwise we'd all still be running around saying 'forsooth' etc. However, mispronouncing schedule is not pardonable IMO.

He's not miserable - he's a laconic Scot with dry humour which most people don't get. There are plenty of vids of him larking about with interviewers and making jokes. If you only ever watch tennis for two weeks a year then you're not really going to see the whole picture. Let's face it, you've just come of court after a gruelling 3hour battle and you're expected to perform to the camera to make the public feel comfortable about you being a happy media friendly person? who gives a toss really - it should be about the sportsmanship of which there is plenty with AM.
