  1. I've just had a fried egg on toast with lashings of butter, yum.
  2. it denotes an action that can't be seen in the text *runs round the room naked*
  3. Didn't say it was the same. I'm just wondering what Domitianus is trying to achieve other than getting everyone to throw up their hands in horror. Some people are insensitive and some aren't. Dom mentioned it to the woman, why bleat about it here?
  4. The curve isn't that bad, it is possible to see the road well enough. I think there should be a crossing there as it's where I always want to cross. Oh dear the poor car drivers may be held up a little. Tough.
  5. someone farted in a shop I was in the other day

    Man* Tasks

I reckon I could do 10/15, some of them not too well though. Mr Asset could prob do them all (that's why I love him).

I've heard the pampas grass story too.
  9. I can play both ways but would go with charliecharlie on the clockwise route preferably. I'm up for a backgammon game.
  10. I've got de-ja-vu
  11. It worked! Thanks
  12. Tom Yum, made with tofu and any mouldy old veg left at the bottom of the fridge. Cupboards are bare.
  13. Thanks Jaybee. I did that, it is definitely pointing at the file where all the choons are but still not seeing them. I'll try again.
  14. Does anyone know how to do this? I've just transferred all itunes music files from one computer to another and I can play the music via the actual file so I know it's on the computer. But, when I open itunes, even though the titles are listed in the library it tells me the file cannot be found and I have to point it manually to the itunes music folder. Once it's played it from there it appears to move itself. I can't go through the whole library doing that, there must be an easier way. I looked on a mac website and according to it in the itunes advanced settings there is a command called 'consolidate library' which might do it. Not in my itunes there isn't. I'm on a pc but that shouldn't matter should it? Any help gratefully received.
  15. my description of the woman who came to my door with the electricity key story about 3 years ago: approx 5'5" late twenties/early thirties close cropped hair slim dressed in all black pointy face non-descript accent, possible slight northern twang. I would say West Indian but could be wrong there.
  16. oh well, it must be true then
  17. Got post eventually but no Grazia, harumph
  18. I've still had no post
  19. True Felicity but as is the nature of conversation we digress. Brendan - I'm slacking. Honk - I bow to your superior knowledge. Intensive farming all the way then.
  20. thanks, freudian slip
  21. it's not about taste - or shouldn't be. It's about the choice of not imbibing something that is rammed full of pesticides, fungicides, sulphates etc etc. I have tasted some very nice organic wine and some shit, same for non-organic.
  22. that sounds a bit sci-fi
  23. Just apropos of the price comparison - a 400g tin of organic (of course) plum toms is 75p in Sainsbury's and 62p from Ocado. And on top of that the ones from Sainsbury's are more watery. I spend less on the weekly shop now I use Ocado that when I shopped at Sainsbo.
  24. I'm confused now between deadlocks and dreadlocks, which are we supposed to get?
  25. village infants is closed
