  1. I was going to suggest that there is a maximum of say, 5 books brought as otherwise we end up with a big pile on the table that no one wants again. Last time a couple of good souls volunteered to take the unwanted pile to charity as everyone else had left and we didn't feel we could just leave them on the table. Either that or take away the books you bring that don't get taken by anyone else, or make sure you take away the same number that you brought.
  2. Blimey, just google imaged Neil Stuke, if he works in there I'll be there every day!

  4. I think you can get rubber versions
  5. oh purleeeese don't bring class into this
  6. it can be done on physical characteristics alone. still all bolleaux though.
  7. uniform or maid?
  8. Yes Dear Tony, but we've already established the daily horoscopes are bullkak. VBC - yes I am, let's be friends
  9. slither instead of sliver is one that annoys me. e.g., I'll cut a slither of cheese - TWIT
  10. Thank gawd my mum lives on her own bit of land with her own water supply and wood burning stoves. I'll be there come the revolution (sadly it's in Scotland, shame it's not say, Tuscany but beggars can't be choosers).
  11. I have lots of Virgo friends
  12. Off the top of my head: Sun - Scorpio (passionate) Moon - Pisces (emotional, perceptve) Rising - Libra (indecisive!) There are websites that will do you a detailed birth chart for free. All you need to know are time and place of birth. Agreed Chuff, it is a bit of fun and shouldn't be taken too seriously.
  13. Of course it's a load of bolleau (shouldn't that have an x on the end?). Not sure about Aquarius being the finest sign though...... Interesting to note how many Leos there are responding to this thread, could it be to do with the Leo trait of egomania???
  14. That makes probably 80% of the population still children then.
  15. s'alright. How are your feet?
  16. I want a dog, Mr. Asset doesn't. Problem.
  17. Never have to wait for Ocado and it's more eco than popping in my car.
  18. Oh my, get thee behind me.
  19. Not cross Moos, just enjoying the banter. Pisces: Emotional, intuitive, expansive. Extremes of elation and depression. Most sensitive of all water signs. Depends on others for shaping or support. Pisces is prominent in the charts of great painters, poets and musicians. Sacrifice of self leads to devoted selfless service for others. In touch with the mystical and beautiful. Physical: Noticeable feet - either dainty or 'sloppy' [i'm quoting here]. Protuberant eyes with liquid beauty, weak chin unless artistic where it is long, large nose.
  20. No! Scorpio, but Taureans and Scorpios very similar (apparently, according to my book) See - you know some mumbo jumbo.
  21. I don't think astrology says that all persons have to have all the characteristics, just that there is a tendency towards them. (it's called a get out clause)
  22. Difficult to say as I think you have to be fairly objective. As none of you know me it's a pointless exercise describing my characteristics but they are: deep feelings, passionate, extremes of behaviour, steadfast, determined. Physical: deep-set eyes, steady gaze My book doesn't say as much about us as, say, Leos. Harumph. What is your sign and I'll have a look.
  23. I assume it is the red lips you are referring to as all other characteristics could be for anyone.
  24. why? red could be taken as dark coloured. This is a 1950s book I'm looking at.
  25. back troubles at all?
