  7. I find your excessive use of CAPITALS a little off-putting TLS, maybe it's a suburban thing.

  10. how about in the kiddie park? On the grass in the bit with the spider web climbing frame? Then the kids can scamper in an enclosed space and we can drink and make merry without having to worry about them all the time. Is this actually going to happen? Can we have a show of people who think they will make it? Azul started this - is he going to show?
  11. i'm filled with ennui

  15. Look at the caste sytem in India - based entirely on skin tone. Palest, the Brahmins; darkest, the untouchables.

Gay men are always delightful > to women, on account of not being interested in > shagging them. And vice versa. Actually, not true - I have known several bitchy old queens who were absolutely vile to females. I have met and, depending on the person, befriended, hated, tolerated, loved etc etc my fair share of gay men in my time and you cannot sterotype as all; lovely to women, stylish, handsome, clean, etc etc. That is as off as what is going on on the other thread at the moment.
  18. the establishment that I have my money with has just reported a loss of several billion, maybe we should all start keeping accounts in the red, then there's nothing to lose.
  19. Jukebox ok in principal until you get someone playing the same track over and over again!
  20. I've used them absolutely fine for yonks with a debit card but the first time I use a credit card to withdraw cash, something happens. Possibly a factor?
  21. First Direct is part of HSBC, whose machines are being merrily tampered with!
  22. My bank spotted the fraudulent trasaction but only because the fraudsters had tested the card for a penny first which alerted the bank. They called me and cancelled the transaction immediately. Mine was an internet purchase for only ?50 and I wonder if it was opportunist stealing of details rather than the organised cloning discussed on here, however I had recently used the hsbc atm. I had to sign a declaration that the transaction was nothing to do with me and that I would be happy to speak to police, without which the bank would put the transactions back on my card.
  23. my driver's license number is 0989-3800-3805. I won't be around on the 18th, better get some practise in!
  24. I'm up for doing this too. I went to the first Gearoge Canning one, couldn't make subsequent ones and then it fizzled out.
  25. we've got Mario Kart. I'll get young master Asset to sort out the license number. I love it!
