I'll join the throng and big up Addison Lee. If I'm ever lost in the wilds of north London after a bit of a night out they are always there to help. I had a conversation with a driver once who told me that they have to go through a very rigorous vetting before being taken on. Personally I don't think they are that much more expensive than any other cab company and any premium is worth it for the service. I'd love to take one of their taxi-bikes some time!

Personally, I think they are a bit suspect on children anywhere not on the continent - and even then....

I don't think anyone mentioned a drink's carton until your goodself MW74 and weirdly, there were no drink's cartons sticking out of the machine when I used it, nor any signs of acid having been thrown over it. I'm not sure I would try to put my card into a ripped out slot with a drink's carton in its place! Please tell us what to look out for as I think that sort of information should be shared with the group. Punctuation edit, must keep up standards!

I did a bit of research before buying and got the impression that LCD is better. It used to be that LCD couldmn't cope with a larger size but that is not the case anymore. I got a 26" Bravia and it's great, no reflected sun on the screen and a great picture.

Just moved my bed to hoover and discovered moth carnage and destruction beneath it (yuck), so I have ordered some of the product mentioned above. I'll report back.
