  1. Mugabe has just had his honorary Knighthood removed, annuled by queenie today
  2. I don't think the government had anything to do with the England cricket team's decision did they? Gordon Brown refused to go to a summit in Italy recently that Mugabe was attending. I would say thay the UK government is reticent about piling in there with force as it is not that long ago the Zimbabweans won independence. The UN needs to kick some butt over there. Or in fact, how about some of the neighbouring countries. Mugabe has obviously gone completely insane but as an article I was reading recently said, the 6 people behind him responsible for the campaign of abuse and terror are more likely to want to keep him in power as they will be the ones to face human rights convictions whereas Mugabe can make a bargain in the event of some sort of deposement.

Drives me nuts. I would say the crap parents are the ones who don't give a toss about their kids' education and don't get involved with the school or how it is run or try to make a difference. To call parents crap because they do care is just laughable.

  12. Can I just remind people that this is the East Dulwich Forum and that, shock horror, most of the people who post may just live in SE22. That is not to say most of us have an issue with going to SE15 (obviously there is a minority that have a problem with everything) but to be derisive because we don't live in SE15 is a wee bit rich.
  13. Hey, you know what? I live in SE22 but haven't got a problem with visiting SE15, or SE21 for that matter. I sometimes even visit north of the river and occasionally go to Scotland eek. This thread has gone totally barmy.

Why automatically assume it was deliberate? Yes maybe it was but, oh how like you to jump in with the accusation. I've never met you and frankly seeing your persona here I'm glad.
  15. Strange, it was only the other day and I asked the lovely girl who works there if there was any chaps' moisturisers. P'raps I'll try again. Anyway I got him some Dr Hauschka in the end.

  17. Yes, I'm sure if you write to them they'll reorganise their borough-wide schedule of collections for you.
  18. "A real man wouldn't be seen dead inside Dr Boo" And I suppose a real woman wouldn't be seen dead anywhere other than in the kitchen? Actually I went into Dr Boo recently looking for some moisturiser for my extremely real man (to stop him using my expensive stuff) and they don't stock any male specific toiletries.

  24. eh? Are you implying I don't know what laconic means? Somewhat giving away the fact you've just done one yourself in order to find out methinks.
