  1. I loved Trevor Kavanagh on R4 this morning having a pop at the BBC for it's blanket coverage when there are much more important world issues happening at the moment. The Sun's front page on Tuesday was a picture of David Beckham and his new baby. Sock it to 'em Trev.
  2. It got a terrific revue on the Film show on R4 the other night.

Sorry Loz, it's a reaction I have to the use of the term "my tax(es)", to me it infers that they always belonged to you and that because they are yours you can spend them how you see fit, nothing Strawman, just a term that grates.

  13. What the best Midfielder in Britain (copyright J Barton ESQ)? Can't see it myself.
  14. "The Hams"? Oh huncs you've never been there in your life. Alongside your reticence to nail your colours to any particular mast, you're transforming into the person you most despise, Boden Man, neither here or there.
  15. Maxxi shoots, Maxxi scores. Hunky old chap, free with the vitriol, what's up? Not shifting much "art" today.
  16. You can have him then kpc.
  17. Does he work as Gold's guerilla PR man? I forgot that Fat Sam played for Millwall as well but I'll never forget that most of his technical savvy came straight from American football and that's the most meat-headed sport in the world. Fact. Lets form a breakaway club, West Ham United United FC. Trails on Hackney marshes, Saturday.....anyone?? Gus Poyet was always my choice.
  18. Right I'm out. Allardyce! ALLARDYCE? I was thinking about a season ticket for next year but not now, I am taking a hiatus from WHUFC until he's gone. Hopefully by October/ November. He's going to stand in a technical area with "the Academy of Football" written in large letters. Sullivan/ Gold/ Brady....Idiots.

  23. kpc, there is also the devaluing of the debt held by Straumur (sp?) as Gold and Sullivan only own half the club, possibly enabling the scumbags to get their hands on all the business at cut price.
  24. Relegated yet again, I thought I might have been used to it by now but I'm not. What makes it so effing painful is that the root cause of this is Gold, Sullivan and Brady. I'm fed up of seeing Brady on TV and hearing about her column, fed up of Sullivan and Gold bleating on about how broke the club is and how they are doing us a favour by taking on such a "difficult" task. If you don't want to do it (and don't think you can trouser a load of cash in the process) then fuck off. Sacking Grant (months too late) was the act of a couple of venal tools, who no doubt had it written into Grants contract that any severance would not be paid should WHUFC be relegated. Nasty and shifty. The silver lining? My new boss is the co-owner of Crystal Palace, so with any luck I might get a comfy seat at Selhurst Park next season. Oh and well done United and City. Do you think City get the FA cup next year in a BOGOF deal?
  25. He had what no other golfer has had, before or since, he was "cool" in the best sense of the word.
