Parcels being stolen from outside front doors in SE22

No I'm NOT on first name terms with them, don't know them, what a strange thing to comment on. Neither May, Johnson or Truss were any good as time showed. Never said I'd vote for any of the three, buy Badenoch would get my vote.

If I was working and in the space of 5 months was offered a combined 8.3%, I'd be happy with that. If 8.3% is not enough, how much do they expect?

Sue and JenJenJen, suggest you do your own research and present the results, then we'll see how things stand. And clearly Admin doesn't have a problem. -
What scares me most is Trump in office in the New Year, Farage on his second coming to lead yet another Party that isn't even a proper Party and Starmer, Reeves and Rayner and go walking into one self inflicted catastrophe after another. That is not to say that Theresa, Boris and Liz also did the same thing, walking into blunder after blunder, May had to go as she stalled politics for three years, Boris had to go because he was out of control, Liz Truss had to go as she had no idea and Rishi + Jeremy tried to steady the ship and were turning things around. He then had to call the election, the rest is history. We now have had nearly 6 months of Starmergeddon and it isn't getting any better.

i) 5.5% pay increase for public sector, implemented by Starmers Govt 2.8% pay increase offered to public sector in addition to the 5.5% increase given July 2024 ii) £300 Pensioner heating allowance withdrawn, implemented by Starmers Govt iii) Budget increasing employer NI contributions, implemented by Starmers Govt increase of minimum wage, implemented by Starmers Govt iv) Two consecutive months of GDP reducing by 0.1% each month, as a result of the budget v) Farmers Inheritance Tax to be increased, implemented by Starmers Govt vi) Inflation increasing, reported as 2.6%,an increase for two consecutive months as a result of the budget vii) WASPI women compensation scheme denied, implemented by Starmers Govt viii) £50m given to Syria, while UK pensioners will freeze this winter and have to choose between heating and eating, implemented by Starmers Govt All done and signed off by Starmer and a result of Reeves budget. And all factual as well, they can't be argued with either because they happened.

Sue - you now want the thread lounged or the posts removed that quote levels of criminality in London. But let me just get this straight, wasn't it you who was "requesting" evidence of the levels of crime in London, happily saying "I probably didn't have any" evidence. And low and behold I produce some authentic data and you now want the thread lounged or those bits which relate to London/UK being removed. Tell you what, why not just ask Admin to remove all the posts that disagree with your point of view that London is not lawless, because I'm happy to see it lounged, deleted, the posts you don't like deleted. In fact - Hi, Joe, guess you've been watching this thread unfold, please feel free to delete any post or part posts of mine you consider to have broken any of the forum rules. But what I do object to, is having someone (Peckhampan) being allowed to openly say that "I spread mis information" and "throwing untruths about". That is wholly untrue, inaccurate and a lie. -
Does this list satisfactorily summarise the trips Reeves, Rayner and Starmer have so far succeeded in tripping themselves up with? i) 5.5% pay increase for public sector ii) £300 Pensioner heating allowance withdrawn iii) Budget increasing employer NI contributions iv) Two consecutive months of GDP reducing by 0.1% each month v) Farmers Inheritance Tax to be increased vi) Inflation increasing vii) WASPI women compensation scheme denied viii) still to happen viiii) still to happen x) still to happen

No, I said wasn't wasting my time sifting and getting evidence to please you and Sue. Pls don't twist or mis-represent my words. So it's gone from "spreading false information" to now "throwing untruths about", a polite way of saying lying??? You cannot bare to hear the truth. If London wasn't lawless the police would attend far more incidents but they don't and don't care about the consequences. They just clear up the mess. Your stas are for homicides - deaths per 100,000, that is such a wide range and lazy quoting of data "What is the knife crime rate in London 2024? Key Knife Crime Statistics at a Glance Nearly 50,000 serious knife crimes were recorded in England from July 2023 to June 2024. London has the highest rate of serious knife crimes, at 17.89 offences per 10,000 people. How many stabbings in London per year? The number of knife or sharp instrument offences recorded by the police in London rose to approximately 15,016 in 2023/24, compared with 12,786 in the previous year. This was the highest number of knife crime offences reported in London since 2019/20, when there were 15,928 offences Which London borough has the most stabbings? Westminster is the area in which the highest number of knife crime offences, including stabbing and personal robberies, was recorded this past year. The Metropolitan Police recorded 1,007 knife crime offences in Westminster over the past 12 months, compared to 802 in Croydon and 743 in Newham. There were 1,085 firearm offences recorded in London 2022/23, compared with 1,071 in 2021/22, which was the year with the fewest firearm offences in the provided time period. Compared with previous years, there were far fewer offences in 2020/21 and 2021/22, which may have been due to the lockdowns brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic" -

Is this an interagation, because it is beginning to feel like it is, answers, answers you demand, I am not wasting my time trolling around for evidence, its a feeling living in London, seeing the blue tape, the white tents where a death has occurred unnaturally in the street, the road, the park, it can happen anywhere, just read the papers and watch the news, open your eyes because crime at all levels is close by to all of us. -

Certainly part of what you quoted are not my words, And; errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, just watch the daily London News shows, read the headlines on news websites, so much goes unreported as it is accepted as a reality of daily life. -

"This is absolute rubbish." - No, it is not. Look at the amount of car thefts over recent months, parcel theft, phone theft at Honor Oak Park Station and most recently a week ago at the junc of Brenchley Grds and Forest Hill Road. The shooting a few Sundays ago in Sydenham, we're riddled with crime and as much as you may wish to deny it and think the Police are superb, where are they when you want them. On our road a guy was going door to door trying to open front doors, wearing a balaclava when the police were called they would not attend, even for a woman on her own, so what does that say???

Oh come on, DELUDED, really? And spreading false information, now that is out of order, perhaps you want to retract your comments, because I am neither deluded nor have I ever spread false information as you have said publicly about me. Looking forward to reading your apology and retraction. -
Can I suggest offering it for free on Gumtree.

They know they can get away with it, no deterrent exists to stop them, no police, no justice system capable of dealing with them. London is becoming lawless just look at the epidemic that is knife and gun crime, almost every week, only recently it was in Sydenham, its everywhere. I don't even feel safe anymore, constantly checking who is around me, keeping a distance from unwanted hands. -

Sorry to hear that Rockets, that's a scummy thing to have dome to you. Sue - that cannot have been a pleasant experience for the thief opening that parcel. Perhaps they'll think twice before nicking other peoples parcels. The police are non existent and don't seem to care, London is becoming lawless. They keep on pushing up council tax or at least the Mayor does on his bit, saying its for the Police, but things don't get better. London experiences high levels of fatal stabbings and shootings., its terrible. I try to do everything I can to avoid all parcel deliveries, preferring to collect myself. Unfortunately some "businesses" especially this year are doing more and more by parcel delivery with no click and collect available. -

Some people elsewhere are filling old Amazon boxes with rubbish or worse, taping them up and leaving them on their doorsteps to be taken 🤣 Well that's made my day Sue. -
