  1. Expressed an opinion and you're all over me like a rash. seems once again anyone who disagrees with you gets negated. Today, when questioned by Beth Rigby about the budget, Starmer had the silliest grin, almost smirking, knowing just exactly how people would suffer in the budget from this coming Wednesday. If you've got any savings expect to be taxed even more. The Starmageden budget will "hurt" lots of people, no one will be smiling on Wednesday afternoon, apart from Starmer, Reeves and Rayner.
  2. There are more effective and efficient ways of reporting i.e. online rather than dragging them away from doing what they get paid to do, catching criminals, as in all the car thefts which have been rampaging across SE22 and into SE23, turning up to break ins, stopping anti social behaviour, drug activity etc.
  3. They need to be out "Policing" stopping and solving criminal activity, not drinking tea.
  4. is that with or without anal warts?????????
  5. This level of criminality is not only happening with that part of Southwark, it stretches across borough boundaries into Lewisham the other side of Langton Rise and the surrounding area. The lack of a police presence and activity, has resulted in this criminality spreading to areas that previously had low levels of crime. Now multiple car thefts, drug dealing and other activity etc. Unless and until the police react the levels of criminality will increase and become more blatant.
  6. He does not care, totally against what he said before the election, one word sums up the man, hypocrite

  8. A couple of Saturdays ago, I almost got wiped out by a white Uber cab as I was crossing Forest Hill Road to Brenchley Gardens, the Uber came out of no where from Brenchley, it was inches away from hitting me, how it missed I have no idea, one life lost.
  9. i) Post Office not taking big parcels at present, Forest Hill Road and Nunhead ii) ED Post Office being totally unhelpful and trying to get people to use Parcelforce in stead at their eye watering prices to Europe iii) Apparent withdrawal of 2nd Class parcel postage to Europe iv) Attempting to charge silly prices to send a small parcel to Europe V) Not being permitted to send a box of chocolates to Europe, damn Brexit
  10. Isn't it the parents choice to send their children to private schools? And if they decide to make that choice as they do not wish their children to be state educated, then their is a price to pay. Now that the VAT increase will take place they have a choice, either pay the VAT or move the child(ren) to state school.
  11. All Lime and the other brands of bikes and scooters simply need crushing, job done.
  12. Possibly the Government via the Local Authority
  13. Got to say the experience at the Borough High Street branch exceeded all expectations 3++, they could not have been more pleasant, kind or helpful, a really +VE experience,
  14. Had to go to bank today to find the branch was closed due to "technical difficulties", blinds pulled down and only minimal engagement with customers when they opened the doors to allow staff to leave. The sign on the door stated the nearest branch was Borough High Street, so had to trapes over there. Couldn't have been a more pleasant experience in that branch, they were so helpful. Don't know if the issue at the Rye Lane branch is or will be sorted, can't recommend the Borough High Street staff enough.
  15. No excuse to reduce the rate from £13.15 to £11.55, if that is the case then they have gone on strike to protest about this reduction. It appears for those on minimum wage, part two jobs equate to one full time job, not fair but that's where we are now, how that changes, I really don't know. At least The Guardian and on here gets them some publicity about their situation, which has to be a good thing.
  16. Unfortunately, it seems some of the resident population don't want to do some of the jobs Iwork) which is required to keep businesses and institutions operational, and that includes cleaning services. So which ever way you look at it, UK PLC requires people to do those jobs, from whichever part of the globe they may happen to come from. These people may well have other skills and attributes to do other other roles now or in the future, whatever those may be.
  17. surprise, surprise it's the infamous Horizon system 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  18. Are you going to have wardens on duty to clear the roads in the event of the police, fire brigade or ambulance service need to use the road to deal with any incident a resident may have????????
  19. Have you seen the proliferation of Lime bikes on Blenheim Grove? Sooooooooooooooooooooo many Lime bikes in front of All Saints Church.
  20. Or go play in the park, but please don't play in the road
  21. Gardens are for playing in, not in the road.
