Dawkins is an arrogant twat who is so adamant about his own theories that he may as well be a religious fundamentalist. I intend to buy some land somewhere in a remote and desolate part of Southern Africa. (North West SA, Southern Botswana or Eastern Namibia) I am then going to declare independence and crown myself king. I may accept refugees from parts of London that end up under water but they will have to do my bidding. I?ve not run this all buy the missus yet though? I fear she may have ?opinions?

Nah nobody in East Dulwich has a big enough garden for a Labrador or Retriever. I?d say it is more of a Jack Russel or Border Terrier kinda place. Oh and Asset South Dulwich = Upper Sydenham. (The next target on the East Dulwich expansionist campaign?)

Nando?s chicken burgers are the best burger you will ever have. Hands down. IMHO (no one specified beef or ham did they) There is a Nandos in Camberwell. Best enjoyed on a sunny afternoon and washed down with a bottle of chilled rose. Off topic here but who was it that instilled the notion of rose=bad/cheap plonk into the British consciousness? Anyone from a wine producing country will tell you that some of the most enjoyable and drinkable wines are roses.

I only ever seem to here the term ?numpty? used by club cricketers to describe someone who drops easy catches or throws his wickets away etc. Having never played cricket with Keef I feel I cannot pass judgement. Although I have a suspicion that the term has been applied to me a few times.

You have to freak out about things like this. If you just accept them where are you going draw the line? If one person is mugged a year that is one too many and it is cause for concern and action because rather that than finding yourself standing at a graveside wishing there was something that could have been done.

Somehow I don?t feel comfortable with the concept of carting the criminal element off to the army. That?s all we need, criminals who are trained and capable. They are bad enough as drug addled neanderthals.

Why not just use baskets? People have used them to carry things in for millennia and they are perfectly fit for purpose. They are what people used before we had plastic bags. They are made out of natural materials and will last a lifetime. Cloth bags are just another disposable product just with a slightly longer lifespan than plastic ones.

You can always stop the violence buy killing the violent. Not very nice but I guarantee it will work.

Lozzyloz I've had a gun pulled on me twice driving in Jo'burg*. Not yet in London thankfully. I still feel kinda safer here. Not seen any shoot-outs in shopping centres in London yet either. *Well technically once in Edenvale and once in Boksburg for those who know the local geography.

What gets me more than dirty shop fronts (don?t like dirty but do like scruffy there?s a difference) is dirty streets. Have you ever looked down at the flag stones on LL? They are disgustingly filthy! I don?t know how people can complain about ?gentrification? or whatever bollocks it is when our streets are paved with spit, shit and regurgitated gum from the gobs of degenerates. Bugger all to do with the white stuff but just an early morning rant!
