I was there from about 10:20 - 11. Popped in by myself for a pint, partly out of curiosity and partly because I wanted to have a smoke and a pint somewhere where I could sit down. The bar staff were also very friendly.

I went in last night for a pint. I like the decor. 'sbout all I can say at this stage.

Yeah why do they always have the radiators on in the lounge bar? I've actually not been in for a few weeks. I used to pop in during the week so I could have a smoke and a guiness. Guess I'm just going to have to get used to only guinness from now on. :(

I started out on a pipe that I nicked from my uncle when I was about 16. I never used to smoke when I went out at that stage, didn?t go out much at that age anyway. At university I got onto the Marlborough reds as I soon figured out that I was not going to get laid looking like Huck Finn. Now I?m old and I smoke Marlborough lights and often feel nostalgic about my old pipe.

Dam right. The fact that smoking is cool is a universal truth. I try to convince Mrs B about this every night as I fire up my evening pipe.

Yeah I've worked in a few resturants and "chefs" can be difficult buggers. No offence meant to any chefs out there just a true observation from my experiences.

I think they sell old school armor and military uniforms to collectors and replica stuff to people who reenact battles. I once went in for a butchers and got a dirty look from the guy behind the counter.

I don?t see a problem in ED. All the pubs are relatively close together so you will just have to pub crawl. 1 or 2 pints in one and then off for a smoke and a walk to the next pub. Or you could just alternate between the CPT and the Castle all day. Maybe even hang out with 2 different groups of people.

Ah the Northern vs Irish black pudding argument another thing I am treated to when I visit the in-laws. M-in-law being from Bury and F-in-law from Tipperary.
