As a customer of the Woolwich for the past 20 years, I was sent a letter yesterday explaining that the final phase of the Barclays/Woolwich merger were taking place over the next few months and my local branch would be closing. Does anyone have any ideas what will be replacing the bank on LL? It is quite a big unit and has the potential to be anything from a restaurant to clothing outlet.

The bellend resedent action group ( BRAG or whatever ) kicked off big time about a lap dancing bar on peckham High st and the application got withdrawn - I cant imagine the reaction if someone has the gall to go for this on LL.

    • I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
