Louisa
As a customer of the Woolwich for the past 20 years, I was sent a letter yesterday explaining that the final phase of the Barclays/Woolwich merger were taking place over the next few months and my local branch would be closing. Does anyone have any ideas what will be replacing the bank on LL? It is quite a big unit and has the potential to be anything from a restaurant to clothing outlet. Fear 'n boozin
Well, the Bishop isn't far off on a Saturday night. I'll mostly be missing having a cash machine on that side of the road (even if it does try its darndest not to actually bother with the cash element of its existence). mockney piers
cinema would be great, an other matter whether an independent one could flourish.I'm with F'n'B ;-)Short of that, independent music shop, but same issues as above (the cinema, not the lady bar). ChavWivaLawDegree
I'd love a Lidl's on LL so I wouldn't have to go all the way to Peckhell. Lidl is my favourite shop, its cheap and there is always a fight in the queue at rush hour!
