Ahem...yes...I don't wish...and I thank you...you are a gent.

Good idea OD.

LOL!!!

Excuse me..........I've just had to clear up a bit of a mess I made having read that. I think your spot on OD. Is the 'wanted' section though not possibly too full on. What about a deep and meaningful thread in the Drawing Room to lure them in so to speak? I don't want to appear too shallow. I am shallow in case your getting idea's. I just don't want to appear it.

It's a slow day at the coal face and I need some entertainment. Any rucks kicking off anywhere that might amuse?

I've tried the cats and I couldn't raise a smile at that. I'm not a cat woman though so if anyone should happen to film one of them getting a drenching then that might do the trick. In the meantime, if any kind soul could point me in the direction of some righteous indignation in the main section then that could get me through lunch.

Giggirl, have you tried "Goose Green Playground"? It's been going a while, but there is some quite good "softy liberal hug a hoodie" -v- "string 'em up in the park as an example" type rows on there. Bit late for your lunch hour though, sorry.

Ooooh tempting, but must sadly decline. I am at home with the baby beagles, who are off school now till September (god help me) and we are waiting for a hairdresser to arrive. Harry currently looks not unlike a vileda supermop. It just can't go on.

Can I recommend the Bellenda Prosecco btw? Perfect in this weather. When I checked yesterday we had several bottles in the fridge.

LeagleB, you paint a picture of such domestic bliss. Do you have a pie in the oven too? I'm liking the sound of the little mop-head though, can't you leave as is?

Bellenda Prosecco - for goodness sake don't you know I have ENOUGH problems without getting such recommendations.

Looked at Suzanne in the past and she is quite expensive, but if planning a wedding or similar - she is reasonable compared with other caterers. Where is Trinco?     I doubt that the children would like Vietnamese food  although they do like curry and things like chilli con carne, We only have a family meal once or twice a year - this year it is to celebrate a 40th , 53rd,  and 27th birthday- we are both pensioners so we need to keep an eye on prices.  I have in the past cooked for 12 people but it is a tight squash getting everybody in especially as the grandchildren have got older.
    • Fake PayByPhone stickers have been found placed underneath official Southwark Council parking notice boards around East Dulwich. These stickers appear high quality, are PayByPhone branded, and include QR codes. However, the QR codes link to a fake website, not the official PayByPhone app. Please double-check carefully before paying for parking and avoid scanning QR codes to make payments. More information on PayByPhone website: https://www.paybyphone.co.uk/stories/fake-qr-codes-how-to-stay-away-from-scams The police and Southwark Council have been informed.
    • Local drug dealers have been placing stickers around ED to advertise the sale of drugs online. These stickers have been found on lamp posts, bins, railings, and metal containers, often around schools and playgrounds. If you see any, please remove them. They usually come off quite easily. Police have been informed.
