If anyone is the owner or knows of the owners of a tabby cat and a black and white cat that choose to beat the crap out of each other every morning at about 5.30am in my back garden can you please let me know so I can politely go pay a visit. Location is Barry Road backing onto the gardens of houses on Landells Road, about a third of the way down. I need my sleep.
I used to live on Silvester Road and a pair matching that description used to drive me MENTAL every single night. I ended up getting a super soaker, a cat alarm and some lions dung pellets. Nothing worked. Barry Road is quite busy so one can only hope they get run over at some point.
It's possible one or both of them are not neutered so if you can find the owners then neutering may solve the problem along with keeping the cats indoors at night of course (although cats are nocturnal creatures).
I have found that weeing round the garden (directly or from a suitable vessel such as a bucket or plastic bottle) keeps Cats from crapping in our garden, may prevent them from fighting as well. Urine is sterile so no health issues, and doesn't seem to be too smelly, or at least not as smelly and as unpleasent as cat poo.

What does owning a cat or not have to do with what I or anyone else posts?

Most cats dig a hole and then bury their poo.....which actually helps to compost the soil.....not pleasant if not buried properly, granted.

    • Well I did say I stand to be corrected! Fair enough, their website only seemed to list three branches. Perhaps it's a franchise model?  It's known as 'agglomeration' in economics Rookie error.
    • I didn't know there was a word for that — thanks!
    • This is just normal business behaviour. That's why there are so many coffee shops in ED and shops selling gifts and interiors stuff, clothes, restaurants.  If there's more than one business of a similar type then it can benefit all of them up to a saturation point and keep up quality. It's all sounding like many think Chango has made a malicious move when it actually sounds like it's owned by one guy who has a good business that has done well.   Anyway this is all great advertising for both empanada places. Very close by is the organic grocer who sells really good value and very tasty samosas and other Indian snacks which are also worth trying.
    • Hello, Does this lovely little panther have a name? & Is he neutered & microchipped?
