emilya555
If anyone is the owner or knows of the owners of a tabby cat and a black and white cat that choose to beat the crap out of each other every morning at about 5.30am in my back garden can you please let me know so I can politely go pay a visit. Location is Barry Road backing onto the gardens of houses on Landells Road, about a third of the way down. I need my sleep. pez
I used to live on Silvester Road and a pair matching that description used to drive me MENTAL every single night. I ended up getting a super soaker, a cat alarm and some lions dung pellets. Nothing worked. Barry Road is quite busy so one can only hope they get run over at some point. dukesdenver
Keep a big jug of water to hand and when the fight starts just lean out of the window and chuck it over them. It won't hurt them but it is EXTREMELY satisfying. DJKillaQueen
It's possible one or both of them are not neutered so if you can find the owners then neutering may solve the problem along with keeping the cats indoors at night of course (although cats are nocturnal creatures). Moos
I'm considering water bombs for my local cat nuisance. Will let you know if I ever get organised enough to get a stash ready to lob. RosieH
I have a crossbow that anyone's welcome to borrow. Of course I'm not sure whether the spawn of satan require arrows of a particular metal... legalbeagle
Pup action water gun, at your side at all times. Works every time on cats and foxes. And irritating neighbours. ????
Why would anyone put tiger Sh1t on their garden to stop cat from putting their sh1t on them? Always perplexed me. giggirl
I don't know the answer to that but I sure as hell take my hat off to the brave men and women who harvest the tiger sh1t. That's got to look good on a CV though, hasn't it. *Bob*
Someone once told me that a particular beauty product contained semen from seals. What a job, eh? Still.. lucky little fellas.. legalbeagle
That should have read "pump" of course. Though I quite like idea of pups with guns chasing the local cats...! Magpie
I have found that weeing round the garden (directly or from a suitable vessel such as a bucket or plastic bottle) keeps Cats from crapping in our garden, may prevent them from fighting as well. Urine is sterile so no health issues, and doesn't seem to be too smelly, or at least not as smelly and as unpleasent as cat poo. DJKillaQueen
Cats bury their poo. It's probably fox poo. Magpie
Hmm the age old cry of a cat owner? it is definately (half-heartedly) buried cat poo, we get fox poo as well and it smells different (and even more unpleasant) - wee seems to prevent that as well Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12347-cats-at-war-barry-road-backing-onto-the-gardens-of-houses-on-landells-road/#findComment-343937 Share on other sites
giggirl
Magpie - exactly how did you stumble upon this information? What were you doing at the time? Paint me a picture so that I can see how you put two and two together here. Thanks. DJKillaQueen
What does owning a cat or not have to do with what I or anyone else posts? Most cats dig a hole and then bury their poo.....which actually helps to compost the soil.....not pleasant if not buried properly, granted.
