Not Eric and Margaret? Have they come out of retirement to re-open Le Moulin?!

Thank Jah for that . I thought my favourite brasserie (in Dulwich) was going to be converted into a Free range asparagus, socks and bike shop

From what I understand, both places are changing hands so the title is right but the discussion is confused!

Le Chardon... eaten there three times I think. It's been a bit of a mixed bag... lovely food one time, a tough-as-leather steak another time, and a completely uninterested waitress another time (some people strangely find this endearingly "authentic" in a French restaurant, a clich? which IMO doesn't ring true).

But hope it stays, and that there's no substance in these rumours. I love the interior, I love hearty French bistro food... they just need to iron out some creases. It's part of the furniture on LL, it should be a local institution like Franklins.

    • You may have more success posting on ED facebook….personally, not a fan  of social media but where I have moved to in the country, this seems to be the main way  of communication. A suggestion for you - well a couple actually - there is a cafe at the edge if Telegraph Hill which might be worth a shot with a pizza stand attached - from memory think it is called White Rabbit or something like that. Cafe has odd evenings when they have music  as well. Not sure if you are to young but give them a go. Get some leaflets/cards done and pop through letterbox or on car windscreen in local area offering your services to clean cars… sure you have done this already. Wish you all the best.
