Perhaps that's the point. It's a cunning disguise so not too many eyebrows are raised when she comes calling.......and anyway you know what they say about posh birds......

Good point LB, what fiendish cunning indeed. As one who's never raised much chivalry in the male breast, I can't stand girls like that.

When you're rather tall and regularly described as scary I'm afraid it just goes with the territory, just the way it is.

But please don't be sad, one of the many reasons I love and adore Mr. Moos is that he's not scared of me at all, hurray.

Tall & scary ,posh birds, fiendish & cunning, big Disney Princess eyes, nose up against the window

I am definitely coming, afterall who doesn't want to meet all of the above

* waves *

( really, I'm just as nice in real life too )

W**F

I've never met you Moos but you do understand you've just described yourself as Princess Fiona. I'm not saying that's a bad thing though, and I certainly hope you're living happy ever after (no spoilers please - I haven't seen the 3rd movie).

Oh that old chestnut. I've heard that endless times too Moos. For scary read: "If you were a bloke I'd consider you assertive and effective but since you're a girl I'm not sure what to do with you. Can't you be just a bit more fluffy?"

Feck 'em and be scary girl, that's what I say. They should be scared.

Grrrrrrr.

Well, quite. Acceptance of one's own nature is an important step on the road to happiness. An' shit.

And being tall is indeed useful, Gigi, I wasn't knocking it.

Sooo, back to the topic. The Actress, eh? I heard she did, and there's no denying it. Posh birds? Go like the clappers.

    • However, some would particularly like to avoid reviews of the 'there are far too many mice'; 'the cakes are deteriorating badly' nature. If you consider that a 'Negative Nelly' response. My experience was that the hot drinks and the varieties of e.g. teas on offer, were generally a positive element. As were the staff serving.
    • The hare krishna restaurant is called Govindas and still going strong in Soho Street, a different establishment to the one that used to be (still is?) in Hanway Street. I must go back to Govindas some time
    • Its that time of year again, past Christmas day and late delayed cards are turning up. How late are your cards arriving ?  Last year I had one delivered 4 weeks late. Can that be beaten this year ?
    • Sadly, a lot of businesses didn't invite reviews on the EDF at that time due to a number of "negative nellies" that would take delight in posting unfavourable comments, often despite never being to the business in question.  No matter how good the place was, some posters would find fault that wasn't there "don't lile the colour of the bidet set in the private bathroom, avocado 😅" Can hardly blame businesses at the time for not wanting reviews on here, thankfully that has mostly changed now.
