In line with Narnia's prediction it'll probably go like this.....

I'll emerge from the Boho Bar one evening after winning a game of poker and drinking one too many Sambuccas. Climb onto my Harley and start tearing down Lordship Lane, only to see Sue emerging from the East Dulwich Tavern. The throttle will open to full, I'll head straight for her and end up impaled on the optics of the EDT bar to die an almost instant but pleasurable death from alcohol poisoning......

The ghost of Sue will roam ED forever with many sightings and for my sins I shall be made patron saint of Sambucca and a thread discussing what happened, why and who was to blame will run for years with the Boho bar being blamed for everything.

Hmmmmm....so glad that's only a theory lol......

I wouldn't take that personally, LB - my guess is that the willie drawers of ED are a moralistic bunch and as you

drive a 'family' car, they would not wish to cause embarrassment or upset to your little ones. Just wait till you get your mini....

GCSE results will be worse than the year before for the first time ever

house prices will fall (a positive imo)

unemployment will rise more than expected

but corporate UK (eps) will do better than expected... and bankers will get their bonuses

interest rates will rise

i'll get pregnant

Just imagine this.

A gutless wolly scuttles like a cockroach away from an ACTUAL 'convo' WITH a fellow poster in to another thread to post ABOUT them.

Are you wearing a hairnet and curlers?

Your mealy-'mouthed' behaviour suggests you should be doing so.

Take it?

What ...... from you?

A stinking cowardly gum slapper?

Oh yes honeybunch :))

I have responded by PM to two.

Another required no reply and yet another was replied to on thread.

Where have I abused people (before they'd abused me)?

What insults? As someone has posted elsewhere, if people wanna give it they need to be able to take it.

Someone doesn't like my opinion of ASSange (so many of them that admire him but behave sooooo very covertly themselves ....LOL) and attacks my input.

Someone else's dirty mind (and possibly their wrong assumption about me and my own body) describes my query to an OP as 'lewd'.

Nope chum, I won't be stowing the 'little hitler' allegations.

    • The eyesore is left, right and elsewhere of said box.😉
    • I don't think you are miserable; the fireworks 'thing' seems to be growing. It used to be that you knew when they would likely happen and they were relatively rare, two or three times a year, for just one evening each time. Now, not only do there seem to be more and more large organised events, with extremely loud fireworks, even making Halloween a must do fireworks date- but people just seem to randomly let off four or five really loud ones at odd times of the night, for around 6 months of the year. Given the environmental impact, I'd have thought the council might want to encourage use of low noise fireworks at large events. I really, really hope something can be done.
    • Would this not be a complaint better aimed at the council? Isn't it an anti social behaviour issue?  I think of myself as pretty live-and-let-live and feel like a miserable cow for saying this, but I do think I might complain. Personally I love the sound of fireworks but our dog is under the table, shaking like a leaf night after night and collapses in the street when he hears the noise.  I'm worried his heart'll give out.
    • The lower / no bang noise fireworks sound great.    Is there anywhere local selling those?
