Well he wouldn't have played for your shower now would he? As Pires said when asked about a potential return to Premiership and possibly joining your lot, he said "Do you know who I am, is this some kind of joke?" Nuff said.

Obviously you weren't watching Robbie Keane trying to con the ref on Wednesday, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Jurgen "half pike with summersault" Klinnsman play for your shower. What a numbnuts!!

Oh God! You really are a humourless pillock aren't you. Klinsmen stopped diving when he came to Spurs because Teddy Sherringham told him it wasn't acceptable over here so only dived when celebrating his goals. Anyway, why aren't you in school? You bunking off again?
Having read Roy Keane's comments on the outcome of Wednesdays game, I think it's fair to say he hasn't made too many friends in his home country, but he has made some very valid points specifically about Ireland getting the rub of the green against the likes of Georgia and not banging on about "Fair Play" then. Fair comment.
Albert Riera and Yossi Benayoun are both declared fit for tomorrow, only 12 days after damaging their hamstrings in the Brum draw, following radical horse placenta treatment in Belgrade this week. It sounds like horse sh1t to me but Liverpool really need to win tomorrow!

I used to notice that Ireland was split about 50/50 over wheter Keane was ahero or a traitor regards his walking out in the world cup (cork lad in the office is very much in the latter camp).

I've a feeling after this that it'll be about 40/60 now.

You can't deny his point though, win the damn game and it's not an issue. Though for the record I though they played rather well and were unlucky to lose, but then I support west ham, that's just par for the course with us.

After being given the run around by the Welsh midfield kids in Cardiff last week when Wales thumped Scotland 3-0, Darren Fletcher (of Manchester United fame) has given the kind of interview that suggests he believes all the groundless hype about himself: -

"Right, I?m going to see how good you really are. Fabregas, Lampard and Gerrard, I?m going to get against you and see how you like it. And when you?ve not got the ball I?m still going to get about you and see how you like it. I?m going to ask you: ?Do you fancy it? Do you like getting kicked? Do you like the fact that I am going to be at you for the whole 90 minutes?' As soon as you get the ball I am going to be in your face. You are not going to like it one bit. And when we have the ball I am going to run you into the corner and you?re going to follow me. Are you ready for that? Because that?s what?s going to happen.?

Shame on him for having ambition!

For someone who is quick to jump on an out of context quote Matt you've only gone and done it yourself.

The quote in full makes him sound a little less manical:

Fletcher told the new edition of ?United we Stand: ?I love challenging myself against all the best players and a lot of them play in the Premiership,?

?I watch how good they are, but when we play them I think to myself ?Right, I?m going to see how good you really are. [Cesc] Fabregas, [Frank] Lampard and [steven] Gerrard, I?m going to get against you and see how you like it'.?

?And when you?ve not got the ball I?m still going to get about you and see how you like it.?

?I?m going to ask you: ?Do you fancy it? Do you like getting kicked? Do you like the fact that I am going to be at you for the whole 90 minutes??

??As soon as you get the ball I am going to be in your face. You are not going to like it one bit. And when we have the ball I am going to run you into the corner and you?re going to follow me. Are you ready for that? Because that?s what?s going to happen.??

Of all his opponents, Fletcher believes Lampard is currently the best of the lot.

He added: ?Lampard is the one who stands out in the Premiership.?

?His movement is outstanding for such a big lad. He?s fit, runs all day, but if you turn your back and he gets blindside of you he?s gone.?

?You have to be so aware of him for the whole game, concentrating 100 percent.?

?You can?t watch the ball; you have to watch the player. Lose your concentration and switch off and he will punish you.?

    • Where did I say he did a good job? Yup and Corbyn was very close to Len McCluskey and funded by Unite wasn't he...they're all as bad as each other... Labour have to purge their party of the far-left - they're a disaster. Allan Johnson summed it up so well on election night in 2019....
    • Thank you for the detailed advise @trinidad It is definitely damage we are concerned about. I don’t think Evri would agree to pay the bill to fix our gate or letter box if they were to be damaged as a result of their delivery drivers helper. Our doorbell can be heard from outside when rung so we don’t quite believe the aggressive simultaneous door/letter box banging is necessary. It can be quite a shock it is done very aggressively.  I’ll definitely action the steps you’ve kindly provided along with a phone call tomorrow. I do sympathise with the role drivers have and how busy they are, which is why we tried communicating directly with her but sadly we haven’t succeeded
    • What outcome would you like? Disciplinary action? Not to have the driver back? Retraining? I know there is alot of pressure on drivers to deliver within a set day. if he slams the gate, is it evidence he is causing damage, or is the noise a irritant to yourself? You could put a sign up or buy a signing asking to close the gate gentle???? can you hear the door bell from the door? he might be ringing, not hearing and therefore knocking. In trhe notes section of the be livery page, there is a note section, although there is not 100 per cent these notes would be read as these drivers are constantly rushing.  I did a google search for you, i found this and you can try the envri website Contact Us | Evri   To complain to Evri, you can follow these steps: Contact Customer Service: Call Evri's customer service at 0330 808 5456 for assistance with your complaint.    1 Write a Letter: Address your complaint to Capitol House, 1 Capitol Close, Morley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS27 0WH.    1 Use the Official Website: Visit the Evri complaints page on their official website for detailed instructions on how to submit a complaint.    2 Email or Call for Specific Issues: For issues like missing or damaged parcels, you can email or call 0800 988 8888, which is free to call.    1 These methods will help you effectively communicate your concerns to Evri.   My driver is called anthony, he is brilliant to be honest. I cant fault him.
    • When I have more time and energy, I will look up the actual number of votes cast for each party in that election, rather than the number of seats won. I'm interested to see that you apparently  think that  Boris Johnson did a good job of "leading the country through Covid." Is your memory really that short? I won't stoop to calling Johnson and his cronies names in the way that you seem to think is appropriate for left wing politicians. At least the left wing politicians have some semblance of morals and a concern for people who aren't in some over privileged inner circle and/or raking in money for themselves on the back of an epidemic. I'm not going to open a can of worms on here  by commenting on the disgraceful so called "purge".
