I always think a 1-0 win at home in europe is an excellent result. The home team have prevented their opponents scoring the crucial away goal and go into the next leg knowing that they could probably win the tie if they just score one away goal themselves. Also psychologically the home team won't throw everything at their opponents in second leg because winning margin is so narrow. Whereas if a team loses by 2 or 3 goals away in first leg it can really focus their minds and inspire a heroic performance in return leg to overcome deficit.

I have to admit i didn't know them by heart, had to look it up. Lyrics not my thing, I barely manage to remember "bubbles". Having seen Norwich a good dozen time's with my Naaaadge mate, I'd struggle to reproduce more than 'On the ball city....' frm memory.

It would be quite something to behold though!!!

    • The greens and reform have given a kick up the arse of the two main parties. We will see dramatic changes in the next six months.
    • The 5th Camberwell Scouts based at St Faiths (SE24) are looking for aged 16+ DofE volunteers for their Scout groups which meet on Monday and Friday night.     email [email protected]
    • Unfortunately while “being inclusive” can be a good thing, being blind to how that is being rolled out is naive. Greens, with Muslim deputy, and strategic voting are advocating open borders and no restrictions on benefits.  Restore UK are advocating restrictions and reducing the number of illegal immigrants, and processes for asylum applications Everyone in the middle is seeking power using whatever means necessary.
    • I would have thought approaching Muslims (and other ethnic groups) and using their own language  was being inclusive, and demonstrating that they were being inclusive. Unlike Reform, who appear to deliberately stir up hatred of particular groups of people. Unlike Labour, who appear to hate supporters of  Palestine. But this thread is supposed to be about James McCash's move to the Greens, so if people  want to discuss more general political issues, perhaps someone could start a thread in the lounge?
