"The Scot's [Dalgliesh] daughter Kelly Cates, a former presenter on Sky Sports News, joked on her Twitter account: "Phew, am exhausted. Just read about something called 'the offside rule'. Too much for my tiny brain. Must be damaged from nail polish fumes."

That made me laugh! All a bit ridiculous in my opinion - all jokes are stereotypes, I think it's gone way over the top.

"Dalglish" ;)

Kenny had a little dig at the sky reporter in yesterday's press conference about it too. LOVE HIM!

I don't think they were joking, but I do think it was out of order. I don't that Gray deserves to be sacked for it.

Is it me or did Blackpool miss out on a nailed on penalty when they were 2 nil up? Who says the refs make decsions in favour of clubs? Well Ian HoLLoway for one. Would have bee interesting to see how things would have turned out if the pena had been given and converted.

Anyway, 3 nil to the Arsenal, 3 goals scored in each of the past 4 games. I'm happy with that.

Well, to counter the "same old shit", I would just like to SHOUT!

Yesterday:

Dulwich Hamlets v Romford (cup tie): 2 - 1 to DH

Man U v Blackpool: 3 - 2 to Man. U.

I watched both of those matches simultaneously last night (DH at home and Man. U in the DH bar!). Both my teams won.

Am I a happy bunny? Do bears crap in the woods? Same old shit?:))

Fergusons face, at any time, cannot be described as a "joy to behold" nor can Wengers, unless you have a perverted sense of beauty.

The biggest mystery of yesterdya evening was why Mark Halsey stopped play after the ball came off of him in the second half and Arsenal looked likely to score. Doesn?t he know the rules? Give me Sian Massey (she of the Andy Gray/Richard Keys incident) any day. Hell, even Charlotte Jackson would probably have a better grasp of the laws of association football than Halsey demonstrated in that incident.

OK, I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. Not a good picture, but come on...just look at that child-like joy upon the man's face! (You need to scroll to very near the end).

As for Wengers, I didn't see the match with Ipswich, but I'd be very surprised if, he too, didn't return home with a big fat grin on his face.

    • Hello East Dulwich families 👋 I wanted to introduce myself to the community. I’m a professional family & wedding photographer with 14+ years of experience, and I split my time between the US and London throughout the year. I’ll be based in London for the coming weeks and would love to photograph more local families here in East Dulwich. My approach is very relaxed and natural — no stiff posing, no pressure — just real connection, movement, and the beautiful everyday moments that tell your family’s story. I work especially well with kids and parents who feel “awkward” in front of the camera (which honestly is most of us!). Sessions can take place at home, in the park, on your favourite street, or anywhere that feels meaningful to you. The goal is to create images that feel like your life — not a photoshoot. If anyone has been thinking about documenting this season with their children, I’d love to connect, answer questions, or simply share examples of my work. No pressure at all — just happy to be here and meet some neighbours. You can see my work here: https://bluesparkphotography.com/family/ (use the contact page on the site to send me a message if you're interested!).
    • I don't! But I've also taken to calling myself David, as it seems to shorten the odds of achieving something in life. It's not King Dave, Dave Lloyd George, Dave Hockney, Dave Bowie or Dave Hasselhoff is it? And I'm not sure Michelangelo would have had such success if he'd called his sculpture 'Dave'.
