Can I say hi? Been a while since I posted, but I do very occasionally still have a read, and do the odd bit of moderating duty for my sins, all the way from New Zealand.

I first registered June 2007, was a pretty avid user for 9.5 years, until we moved away at the end of 2016. Made many friends, sold lots of stuff, had many a laugh over the years.

Hope all well in NZ Pickle. I haven't lifted a squash racket since your departure!

All about the fly fishing for me now - and we had a baby boy - Jock.

I was on the forum for well over 10 years I think. Happy days, most of the time! Am still mortified by my Sainsbury's avocado thread! 😱! And I still cherish my face to face meeting with Strafer Jack (also no longer here) in the Palmerston - it was quite emotional and uplifting. I Continue to follow you all but have moved to the South Shropshire Hills and set up a B&B. It's beautiful here but I still miss ED/Peckham borders though don't regret move. In fact I always maintain that nearby Ludlow is like ED in the country! And yes, I am still editing my posts - old habits die hard...

A B&B, you need to post the link. Will there be smashed avocado on sourdough bread for breakfast? Prefer Waitrose?s avocado but I?ll make do with Sainsbury?s.

Me, 10/01/08 which was the day we moved to ED... I?ve mainly been in the Family Room for the last 5 years though. Love the EDF but am particularly grateful for the amazing friends I?ve made from 2 lots of Winter Babies threads which means I went from knowing no-one in the area to bumping into people all the time (and some good nights out)!

    • He wasn't great when interviewed on Channel 4 News this evening either, but he may get some respite tomorrow with the breaking Nandy story.
    • I was referring more to his performance at PMQs yesterday. It was quite a riot! Almost topped Mastermind
    • Agreed, he should not be held accountable over the mess up over release of prisoners. On the other hand he did himself no favours with his gaffes on the BBC Master Mind programme where he passed on five questions. Where he did answer, here are some of his responses.... When asked who succeeded Henry VIII, Lammy incorrectly answered “Henry VII,” When asked which French scientist won Nobel prizes for both physics and chemistry?” Lammy responded with “Antoinette” When asked which fortress was built to defend Paris and later used as a prison, he answered “Versailles". When asked which variety of blue English cheese is often taken with port, he answered "Leicester" If nothing else he was entertaining.
    • Why do you think he should be toast? All these problems with the prison service apparently go way back, long before Labour took over.
