wee quinnie
"WHAATTT???" - in the context of "Why are you looking at me like that?"Also, unsurprisingly, I have a terrible habit of attaching "wee" to every noun, regardless of stature. Keef
I went through a recent phase of saying "Bigidibigidibigidibigidibigidi Bo!" quite a bit, but thankfully I seem to have grown out of it. Jah Lush
I'm just a boy who can't say "no".So, I say "yes" to most things when quite often I'd have rather said no. For instance, yes, let's got to the pub, yes, what are you having?, yes, I'd love another drink, yes, yes, I'd love another drink (repeat ad nauseum) yes, let's call it in, yes, let's stay up all night and get shitfaced, yes, let's go to bed (at last). Lastly, have you got work in the morning? "Yes, unfortunately." embellina
Like. I, like, put, it in front of, like, nearly every word I, like, say. Will I ever be able to stop? wee quinnie
Actually, another one that I do, mostly unintentionally:When someone gives me a whole lot of verbal nonsense, I just look at them in an uncomprehending way, and emit, "Buh!" I look a bit like a sheep when this happens. Jah Lush
Bollocks! No I don't mean this thread. But, I do say bollocks quite a lot. As in "What a load of bollocks." Or "bollocks to that." Also, on my last couple of visits to the Dog in Dulwich Village recently I've noticed that they've been selling a real ale called The Dog's Bollocks, so I've had to have a few pints of that and very nice it is too. In fact, I can tell you that it is the canine's testicles. Keef
But Anna, do you add a "like" to the end of "No offence" in true scouse style? ;-)... No offence like.I've started using "fella" quite a bit. "Alright fella how are ya?". I don't mind it really, but not sure it's really me.
