Hi


Just tried to book table at rye but they're fully booked with lunches...but the guy said if its sunny we should get a table in garden and if i phone in morning he will try to reserve us one. But if its raining then we won't get a table. Weather forecast looks pretty good so guess we should just hope for sun and i'll try to call in morning and book....and if it rains we may have to think again.

Sorry to miss you today, I was hoping to come and lovely to meet you all at the clockhouse last time. I'm living in Eassex at the mo, soon to be moving back to ED but I don't think I'll make it this avo. Have a lovely time and huge congrats to Ellie x

Ok have reseved table on terrace in garden for 2.30-3ish...think the guy might be a bit upset when he finds out its for a load of pregnant women who aren't exactly going to be necking drinks all afternoon but hey what can you do?! Hopefully see quite a few of you later.

Yes - I would like to second Jo's comments. It was great to meet some of you yesterday and have a natter in the sunshine.


I am not due until October 21st (with my second) so another month at work before I go on maternity leave. Good luck to those due in the next few weeks and hope to see you guys again in the near future when I go on mat leave.

Hello everyone,


I'm having twins... meant to be coming early Nov but Kings say they will arrive early Oct instead! So sorry I just missed a Meet Up, gutted, as these are my first babies and it would be lovely to meet up with other bumps and owners!


How would a couple of weeks time be as per above message? I don't mind organising it... Let me know how that sits with you all.

Evening of Thurs 30th Aug works for me. I am working up until the last minute, so not starting maternity leave til beginning October. (Bit of a gamble - my son was a full two weeks late, so am assuming this one isn't going to take me by surprise and put in an early appearance!)

Hi Everyone,


I'm due with my first (eek) at the start of October, so would love to meet up with a few other people in the same situation! I don't think I can make it along on the 30th as my friends are playing a gig, but I'll keep an eye out for any other dates on here :)

Sounds as though a few of us will be around so shall we organise something for the evening of the 30th?


What time would be best - I was thinking maybe 8-8.30pm, which would give those of us with children a chance to get them into bed and grab something to eat beforehand. Does that work? And what about a venue - any preferences? Somewhere on Lordship Lane perhaps? I'm happy to book a table.


Hope everyone is coping with the heat! I am feeling very hot and very huge :( Glad it's meant to be getting cooler by the end of the week!

Hi Ladies (autumn mummies 2be) it would be great to meet up with some local mummies, im expecting DD2 a little boy in 4 weeks :) ! i live in garthorne rd, HOP. are you all still meeting on evening of the 30th August?? ...may i pop down and meet with you for a drink? .............

      You clearly like middle-eastern food, so Zaytoon in Peckham is worth a try. It's Lebanese, so grilled meats, fresh fish and really interesting salads. I'd recommend their chickpea and lentil soup as well - I've tried to replicate it myself, it's that good. It's on a couple of levels, but only two or three shallow steps up to the dining area at the back, and once you're up there, you're on the same level as the bathrooms. It's BYO, and no corkage, but do sort yourselves out on your Tesco Club Card for anything half- right before you get down there - the offies opposite have got wise to it now and are charging accordingly. I've eaten there many times, the food is always excellent, the portions are huge (I've never finished). very reasonable and it's got a really laid-back atmosphere. I haven't had to book, but I've seen larger parties in there who maybe did. I really can't see they'd have a issue with it - the staff are very accommodating. I just checked TripAdvisor (5 stars) and one review specifically mentions how much their kids enjoyed it. It's at 94 Rye Lane, open from 11 til 3ish (at the weekends) and is accessible via the 12, 37, 63, 363 and P13 routes.
