Just to balance out the ying of the "overrated" thread:

East Dulwich Supermarket (opp EDD) - why does no one ever mention this place - its v good.

Various other corner store places around SE22. I esp like Barry Rd Stores - although it was better a couple of years ago, when they used to have various off the wall sales..like rails of made to measure suits. Its still a nice friendly store though.

I?m with you on the East Dulwich Supermarket! They do biltong (which saves me having to make it in the airing cupboard which annoys Mrs B and makes the linen smell meaty) and they do boerewors and those really sweet Spanish onions that are the size of footballs.

ED Supermarket is brilliant. Great middle eastern/Greek/Turkish food stuffs, nice breads, herbs and stuff.
