Monday - women only session

Tuesday - miserable scowly wankers session ( I can probabaly make this )

Wednesday - Skaggies and crackheads ( combine this with a needle exchange drop off in reception )

Thursdays - L/G/TG session

Fridays - Working classes session, assuming they are not drinking alkopops in the park and stabbing each other

Saturday - newbies session - espcially for those who come into ED on a saturday AM to pick up reams of shite from the estate agents, then pore over it in neros and try to make sense of their A-Z london maps and where zone 2 ends

Sunday - free for all session

Just curious as cant be bothered to wade through anymore of the dull posts of people who arent actually going to be attending this get together (I would assume as Im pretty sure a straight man isnt a gay or especially lesbian parent but of course correct me if you are wrong and you are all gay men looking to be parents and I will gladly retract this statement) - did it ever get off the ground and is a meet up being held?

thanks

  • 1 month later...

hi all,

i couldn't find another thread but i think this one will do. i am a stay at home dad with a 10 month old, highly active daughter. can anyone suggest any play groups/activities in the area? also, at the risk of incurring the same wrath as cazzyr, are there any dads only meet-up groups. it's not that i want exclude myself but 1 day a week/fortnight/month it would be cool to hang out with other dads.

please can you include times, costs, what the kids/parents do etc

thanks

rob

there's a thread about activities:

i'm sure there is a dad's group, but I cant find it. I'm sure I read about it on this forum some time. maybe if you go to some of the more general ones and ask some dads you'll find out. or start a new thread in the things to do section with that title should get you better info

If you are a dad looking after your pre-school children on Friday mornings, Dads and Littluns is the place for you.

We are an informal playgroup for dads and their babies and toddlers, open most of the year, even school holidays.

Whether you look after your children full time or just have them some for the day, come by for a coffee.

10.30am -12.30pm

The Clubhouse, Griffin Sports Ground, 12 Dulwich Village.
