New restaurant

Hello people of East Dulwich.

I am the chef of a the, what will be the new Green and Blue on Lorship Lane.

We are opening something slightly similar to what was previous. But just a bit more of a serious restaurant(but not stiff).

Alex and myself are really struggling with a name for the place. I want to ask anyone and everyone who is interested to try to name it. Just post or send us a name of whatever.

In return we will offer the winner a free meal on the house.

Look forward to hearing from you

Kind regards

Hazle and Alex

I can imagine many people will answer with humorous or gilb answers, and fair enough but for a new business getting a name right is quite important so best of luck

Single name possesive seem quite popular ? such as Mishkins in town or Franklins locally

Are the rumours about connections with Terroir unfounded then?

    • So what is the issue? You want compensation for the loss of value, or you want to expedite the matter?
    • No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from  fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
    • The accompaniment to our "Christmas Pudding" aka Nothing-Whatever-Like-A- Christmas-Pudding last year  at The Cherry Tree was "brandy butter ice-cream." If it had ever been near any brandy, the brandy must have been waved in its direction from a very great distance. Same with butter. The ice cream tasted like bog standard "vanilla" from a catering tub. At least it did bear some resemblance to ice cream. Whereas the "Christmas Pudding" bore no resemblance whatever to any Christmas Pudding I have ever seen or tasted in my many  decades of seeing and tasting Christmas Puddings. Oh, and Cinzano Bianco. Bleurgh. My sister used to drink that. 🤢
