Like you all I still have basically no reception at home. The issue had been reported to Vodaphone, although no timeframe for resolution was given when I spoke to them yesterday; spent about 30mins on the phone to them.

The technician did say something about compensation for days of no service, but frankly I wanna get out of my 3G contract 3 months early (already out of phone contract) and will be switching provider..... dont know to whom yet!!!

There is an expansive thread on Vodafone somewhere on the forum. Last year for months I had extremely poor reception on both 3G and calls as did many other people in ED. Some of us managed to get sure signals out of Vodafone for free. This worked and I haven't had a problem since. It took some doing to get it out of them, I ended up pestering them daily. I'd recommend ressurecting the old thread and pointing Vodafone to it.

Remember that each call is logged and will probably generate some kind of KPI. So the more calls made the better (for the customer).

Lots of reasons. To push the thread up in the page rankings after informing vodafone of the thread, get advice from those of us who battled with them last year and create alerts for those of us who may have auto email set in the thread.

    • I'm happy not seeing a GP face to face.  I had WhatsApp video appointments a couple of years ago, which ended up with me being rightly sent to Tommies A and E.  I see nurses from time to time at TJ, I always have a good laugh with both them and the blood test people.  I see the practice nurse at FH from time to time and it feels like visiting an old friend. I'm not sure whether social media has made us a more negative nation, or it just feels this way due to some of you who post on this forum.  The majority of posts in ED matters and on the transport thread are complaints  How would you define lazy and useless?  There is a spectrum of productivity, and of customer service.  Some excel at one or both, but I'm not sure at what point workers drop below an acceptable level.  When I am unhappy I will complain to an organisation. Some respond better than others.  One of my first posts over a decade was to complain about a local shop.  It's a funny anecdote which is essentially a "Ok you don't want my money so I'll go and spend many 100s of pounds at a different company" but I regret not dealing directly with the shop rather than getting pointless revenge many years later.  Still won't use the shop though.
    • Now as an ex patient my impression was that their is a general lack of accountability  or responsibility by the staff at FHRGP and heaven forbid you should disagree with them, "not allowed". They want total control with no scrutiny. How that practice survives, I really don't know.  That being said, two or three of the staff are excellent.
    • Why would they hide malumbu? I don’t have an attitude, but their reception staff do. I still smiled and thanked . Go and experience it. Sue , because that’s how it works . I wasn’t there for myself, someone else. Venting on here helps me, however I’m under no obligation to make any sense to you. You sound deluded about staff sitting around  doing job related things , have you had your Covid jabs?
