buggie
James' comment in the fashion advice thread just got me thinking - who would you consider the ideal neighbour/fourm drinks attender??The reason James' comment triggered this is that I think I'd love it to be Gok Wan - to never have a bad fashion day again - so long as he didn't get me posing naked in my front window as well!! Bellenden Belle
Ooooh, I'd like Gok Wan to be my flatmate too! Or a fabulous radio presenter called Baylen Leonard because he has a passion for musicals and I could imagine us starting each day with a medley from Sweet Charity, Chicago, and the Producers.Oh and George Clooney next door if he promised to stop making those Kenco ads. Spartacus
Anyone but Ceaser .... Personally I am happy with all my nighbours, I have the "girl next door", "the old grumpy geezer", "the family" across the way and the "mad woman who runs naked down the road"Appian way is a normal street in anyones books if only there weren't so many chariots driving around at break neck speed!! Jah Lush
Keith Richards would be fun, we could nip round to each other houses and get wrecked. He'd certainly be a good drinking partner and I could get some much needed guitar lessons off of him. On the other side Kelly Brook could pop round my gaff for a cup sugar anytime she wanted. KalamityKel
I'd love to be peeking through my window drooling as Mr O Bloom would be in the back garden sunbathing... ooooo the thoughts! AND certainly much better than the current option - as much as I love boobs me neighbour just doesn't do it for me one bit :-$ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3332-fantasy-east-dulwich-neighbour/#findComment-104234 Share on other sites
LuvPeckham
It would have to be Davina living next door for obvious reasonsIf she was camped outside my house (rather then next door) then it would mean (gulp) that I was in Big Brother (shreaks with horror at the prospect)Failing that ... Eddie Izzard and Cameron Diaz either side of me and Kylie and Danni over the road (imagine the dinner parties) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3332-fantasy-east-dulwich-neighbour/#findComment-104240 Share on other sites

Brendan
The friends I grew up with and who are now all scattered across the globe. They would be a lot more fun and intellectually stimulating than any combination of toss pot slebrities. MadWorld74
Brian Blessed.....I could call on him when my noisey neighbour started acting up. He'd come round and bellow at them!....I also think he's pretty cool. Pickle
I'd love to have Bruce Parry (the guy from "Tribe") living next door - his stories over a drink or dinner would be amazing to hear!Years ago when I lived in Clapham I had "celebrities" living next door (at least they thought they were) - the "pop group" 3SL - you're forgiven if you've never heard of them! They were the 3 Scott-Lee brothers, Lisa from Steps' brothers, one of them is now married to the orange one from Liberty X. Provided us with hours of entertainment listening to them having singing lessons, and watching them strut round the shared courtyard topless in the hope someone was watching (of course we were... but we were a flat of 20 something single girls!). Bizarrely their Dad lived with them too! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3332-fantasy-east-dulwich-neighbour/#findComment-104261 Share on other sites
cdonline
Anybody apart from current neighbours would do.4 in the morning and it sounds like he's sawing his girlfriend in half. She sounds in pain. Keef
I like Brendan's idea. All the great friends I have who have gone back to Australia, especially Tasha who is one of my favourite people in the world! That said, I think I'd be nipping round to Jah's quite often to have a drink with Keef, and share Kelly's sugar! >:D< Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3332-fantasy-east-dulwich-neighbour/#findComment-104300 Share on other sites

Marmora Man
I'd like a large family that had a good plumber, a good electrician, a good carpenter and a good builder within their ranks, always anxious to help out their neighbour at he drop of a hat in return for a few beers. HonaloochieB
I'd go along with BB and have Baylen Leonard next door with Amy Lame next to him and Danny Baker on the other side.Upstairs I'd have Tom Waits in no 26 and in no 27 Ross, Chandler, Joey, Monica and Phoebe out of Friends.I'd rent my spare room to Rachel.
