I would highly recommend Fernando to help with your garden.

He's really positive and hard working and has turned our dull brown space into an actual garden!

We hired Fernando to help prepare and turf our garden but on the day the delivery of turf we ordered online was late and then eventually never arrived as planned. This could have turned into a real problem but Fernando simply got stuck into others areas of the garden and created a new border, built some planters and tidied up the space and then kindly said he would come back the following day (which was a Saturday) to finish the job.

Overall we are super pleased with the result and feel he was really good value. He is very kind and seems to genuinely want to do a good job and ensure we were happy with the outcome, which we are!.

Just had Fernando back to get stuck into our monster ivy overgrowth - he worked like a Trojan all day and has done a great job clearing a border for us. Very happy to recommend him. Lovely polite chap, v. reasonably priced and clears everything up after him as he goes along. SunnyBee - his mobile is 07946 757938.

Fernando did an introductory session in our garden on Friday, kindly fitting us in 2 days after the arrival of our newborn son!

So polite and friendly, he made a great start on our beds taking the initiative to create a brick border which looks so much neater. Thanks Fernando! We look forward to having you to help out again soon.

I would also like to make a reccomendation for fernando. He has worked very hard this afternoon to restore my wild garden into an enjoyable space. Fernando is hard working, trustworthy and a great gardener. i will not hesitate to use him again.

Anna

Hello,

Thanks for recommending Fernando on here, he worked on my garden in Ashbourne Grove today for the first time and did an excellent job. I'm very happy with the results and I have booked him in again for the end of June. He was prompt, worked hard and cleared everything away afterwards.

Thanks

Chris

Fernando spent over 4 very hard worked hours in our garden this morning and the transformation is fantastic. He is very lovely to work with and his workmanship is second to none. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Fernando and see you in a couple of months.

I've used Fernando twice in the past month to sort out a horribly overgrown front garden and can highly recommend him. He worked incredibly hard, is a pleasure to deal with and left the garden looking better than it had for a couple of years! Will certainly have him back.

Based on the recommendations here in the east dulwich forums I booked Fernando in to bring some order to our backyard, removing weeds, cutting back overgrowth and so forth.

Fernando was great and just as others have described on this thread - punctual, courteous and very hard working.

My girlfriend and I are both extremely happy with his efforts and have booked him in for further maintenance work next month.

I would certainly recommend his services if you need some garden work done

Fernando has been working for me for quite a few years now and I am extremely grateful for his fantastic help in our garden. He is reliable, effective, as well as extremely hard working & polite. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I'd echo the recommendations for Fernando who I found through the forum. He spent a couple of days on our back garden this week and is doing some further work next week on the front. Great results, fair price and nice to deal with too. MB

    • Quite a few going off tonight. Diwali is over, or so I thought. Anyone know what the special occasion is?
    • I got this  interesting email today. At least some (albeit apparently very few) shoplifters seem to have been arrested, though I wonder what the criteria were. Obviously that is only the ones arrested as a result of this particular initiative. Met Engage Logo Joint Partnership Success – Operation Roscoea, Southwark We’re pleased to share the success of Operation Roscoea, a joint partnership anti-social behaviour (ASB) initiative carried out in Southwark last week. This multi-agency operation saw eight partner representatives from six support organisations conducting outreach patrols alongside officers from our Trust, Confidence and Engagement Team. These joint efforts led to numerous new referrals into support services, ensuring vulnerable individuals are connected with the help they need. Neighbourhood policing teams also carried out joint patrols with Southwark Council wardens, who now hold newly designated enforcement powers. This enhanced collaboration has strengthened our collective ability to respond to ASB and community concerns. Operational highlights included: Six arrests made by officers from North Southwark Town Centre Team, St George’s, North Walworth, Faraday, Newington Ward, Chaucer, and the Proactive Crime Team: 2 for possession of a Section 5 firearm (CS spray) 1 for possession of Class A and B drugs 1 individual wanted for theft 2 for shoplifting ASB enforcement activity included: 2 Community Protection Notices issued to persistent offenders Numerous intelligence reports submitted to support ongoing investigations This operation is a testament to the dedication and teamwork of our local officers and partner agencies. Thank you to everyone involved for your continued commitment to making Southwark safer and more resilient. We look forward to building on this momentum in future deployments. • I've seen it in the same place the past two Fridays. I'm assuming it's some sand that's left over from when the old sand filters failed. When that happened there was lots of sand on the bottom. I'm guessing it'll only go if they use a pool vacuum to clean the bottom.
    • Maybe because you would have thought such an incident  would have been publicised, or  someone on here would know what it was? On the face of it it seems odd, especially if they were on blues and twos, if there was no serious  reason for it. Unless, as I said, it was some kind of training exercise?
