All this so called modern comedy is terrible. I'd like to see more re-runs of the old classics like Love Thy Neighbour and Allo Allo. No sex, No swearing just good old fashioned jokes, remember them? - Enid Scuttlebush, Milton Keynes.

this is the best thing on TV at the moment - watched the whole series the other saturday in a row on BBC3.

Agreed, this series is brilliant - luckily my housemates are Australian and brought the DVD over with them - been out a while over there. It's really re-watchable (if that's a word) I've seen it endlessly and each time find something new - the extras are all spot on too

Not sure who my favourite of the 3 characters played by Lilley is - changes each time. But Mr G executing his evacuation policies is hilarious.

Gonna have to whack an episode on now.

Australian house guest has the summer heights high box set, so watched the first 3 episodes last night. Absolute feckin gold! Have yet to see FofC but same house guest and another friend have highly recommended it!

Yes, I did, and fell about laughing. The series was also funny but not nearly as good - the songs are sublime.
