To the Australian Beer gut sat outside Franklins today...

...and you know who you are, you filthy mole.

When you're mate asked if you had watched any of the paralympics, you're reply of

"Why would anyone want to watch that shit, a bunch of spastic cripples..." you said it so loudly and laughed so wildly that your great big fat white gut, feel clear out over the top of your grubby jeans.

Keep your redneck Queenslander (judging by your accent) thoughts to your self.

Berk.

He has probably totally missed the irony - his "bunch of spastic cripples" are much fitter than he is and *much* closer, physically and spiritually, to the British competitors who won medals in the Olympics. Of course many Aussies are currently labouring under a massive inferiority complex anyway since "Team GB" tonked them so thoroughly at the latter event...

Keef, I don't know of anybody who thinks like he does. I don't keep company with arseholes.

If you are reading this pigman, then make sure you are in the same place at the same time this weekdn and we can meet up for a quiet one.Im sure I'll recognise you.

Madworld you do tend to jump down people's throats without really reading what they were trying to say. I don't keep company with arseholes either, but that doesn not change the fact that lots of people won't really give the paralympics the time of day, and lots of people will laugh at the term spaz or cripple.

That's the world we live in, like it or not!

For my part I do lots of work with blind sports charities, and sit next to the England Blind cricket team manager every day at work. Sorry if I sound defensive here, but I feel like you're suggesting myself and Simon are on the same page as the drunk Aussie bloke.

There are 2 formats. The international game uses a normal sized ball with a rattle in it, and it's bowled underarm (although some of them are feckin fast!!!). The domestic game in the UK uses a larger ball (biiger than a cricket ball but smaller than a football), also with rattles in it, this is bowled overarm like normal cricket.

The new England captain Matthew Dean scored a century in his debut as captain (against the West Indies) about a week before KP did it.

Sorry AFN - are you making out that since I work the advertising industry I'm a... 'filthy mole', 'swine', 'immature', 'arsehole' 'pigman'?

I'm astounded to think that a toilet mouth is the making of a gentleman.

Is this how we do it? Having exhausted the scorn we can pour those who may deserve it, we then extend our aim to spatter our diseased prejudices over any other target of our choosing? What a shame.

blind cricket, excuse my ignorance, but are the players totally blind or partially sighted. How big is the bat if they are using a bigger ball, is the ball as hard as a normal ball and finally is there someone calling direction of stroke as i can,t imagine the players would have much reaction time.

Advertising Industry? Sorry i thought you were just opposed to the rituals of the Catholic Church, had no idea that you also offer spirtitual redemption through object fetishisation.

But no in answer to your question i was just pointing out the fact that the popularity of the event is specifically linked to the viewers which in turn is linked to the advertising and prominence of the scheduling within a tele-visual context. if the audience ain't there then advertisers won't sell. We are all complicit within this little capitalist conundrum.
