Great night, good to see new faces.

I think the pub itself rather divided people. Some loved it, some not so impressed.

I had a fascinating conversations including foreign relations and human rights and one over the urinals with an old chap about his choice of Soho based entertainment. Something he would only indulge in after pension day.

Some stunning Karaoke.

I did my usual piss-poor job of circulating, only managing to say hello to about half the crowd despite being amongst the first there...

Thought the pub was solidly traditional, although the chaps with the neck tatoos flicking through our unattended stuff did put me a tad on edge towards the end. None of that overshadowed another cracking night - guest singer belting out "living on a prayer" inbetween heavy pulls on an inhaler was a particular highlight!

Great to see everyone and to speak to a few new peeps and nice to try out a new pub.

Mr Buggie thinks this it is now his favourite pub - this is often said about establishments though!

Don't apologise. It was the highlight of my evening. Natalie had gone out to deliver a baby and I was stuck inside on my own, bored, ill and feeling sorry for myself.

I just suggested that Brendan might be a splitter that's all. There were definitely some interesting characters there last night, but generally friendly. It was one of the best forum drinks I've attended I think.

I had a lovely time.

After a horrible week at work (which is not over yet, by the way) I was on the verge of not going and I'm so glad I made myself. Lovely, as always, to see all the regulars and very nice to meet a few newbies. Special mention for Antony who, after a dubious start ("accidentally" wandering off with BN5's pint) completely won me over with charm, wit and flattery.

Karaoke was very special, although Keef may never forgive me for not taking part, it was worth it to see him take on Bon Jovi with such style. And as for Jah Lush.... well, what a performance.

The evening even ended well with a good brisk stride home with the buggies (stopping at the EDT for a toilet break (Men, why don't you ever go before leaving the pub?) and kebab and wine for supplies) but don't even get me started on Mr Buggie's kebab breath....;-)

Had a great night, i was definitely in the camp of not being a massive fan of the pub but loved the karaoke and singing livin on a prayer with alleycat - the ol' voice is a little worse for wear today..

thanks for Raj for buying me my first drink although it did take me a moment to recover from them not serving pinot g.. great to meet JJF, the lovely lady that works for the foreign office and as always seeing all the regulars that I enjoy the company of so much..
