You applaud the players by buying a ticket???? Not the same as cheering and applauding is it!!!

how underrated Park and O'Shea are

I've always liked Park.

As for below the belt Keef...videos of Gerard kissing the camera and various other posts by your lot when you beat us?

Two wrongs don't make a right, I see your point, and thought at the time that it would come back to haunt Liverpool fans, but surely you can see the difference? Your lot actually win a shed load of things, and have always been so cocky about it (not so much the players, although Ronaldo lacks class sometimes). That is why I find it very hard to take my hat of to United sometimes, I like a gracious winner.

If Liverpool win the league anytime soon, I cringe to think how some (and we both know who I mean) will act, and I'd find that just as classless!

Couldn't have put it better myself

Errr... :-$ Yeah, sorry about that. I did apologise at the time though (and I was encouraged). Don't really like to be smug as it does tend to bite you on the arse.

Didn't really watch the game last night although I was praying for an Arsenal win. Hopefully they'll want some vengenance in the league.

Yeah, sticking 2 fingers up at other people for an acheivment that isn't yours is much better.

This is why I have come to the conclusion that I am not a "real" footy fan. I love watching the game, I want Liverpool to win things, and I particularly like it when they beat certain teams.

Yet, I will cheer these other teams in european games, and if Liverpool get beat, I will go about my day and move on...

... to the oval perhaps.

I really don't understand why anyone who is a Liverpool fan would want to cheer Man United over any other team unless it's to Liverpool's advantage and vice versa - are you seriously telling me Keef you would support United in the Final over Barcelona or Chelsea!?

If Spurs were playing Real Madrid tonight I may root for Spurs, but I'd not expect that from West Ham, Arsenal or Chelsea fans. Rivals do not support each other - you do not cross that line! :)

are you seriously telling me Keef you would support United in the Final over Barcelona or Chelsea!?

Against Chelsea I wouldn't give a sh!t, I'd just watch as a neutral.

Against Barca, I'd honestly be a bit torn. Yes Man U are Liverpool's biggest rivals, but why more so than anyone else? For scousers and mancs, it's obvious local rivalry, but for a supporter from London, or indeed Wales, why should it be such a big thing?

Having lived in Liverpool, yes I feel a bit more competetive towards Man U than most teams, but if they're playing a european team, then I just want to see a great football match (and whatever you say, Man U are a great football team, with a very good midfield), and I'd be quite happy to see an English team win. Then I hear a load of Man U fans being total cocks about it, and so I suddenly feel like I've been foolish to cheer them... It's a catch 22 for me :-S

I'd never boo a Man U player in an England shirt though, well possibly Phil Neville giving away that penalty years ago.

This competition about being a proper or real fan gets on my tits. You and Anna go up to Anfield all the time and follow the team. I don't because I can't afford to, and honestly if I had more money, I'd spend it going to see gigs rather than footy matches, because it's a better experience for me (I have crappy eyesight, so going to matches gives me limited access, I'd rather see it clearly on a tv with a cold beer in the pub).

However, I love watching football, probably as much as anyone else on here, and I feel a lot of love towards Liverpool because I have fond memories of the place, and going to Anfield a lot (when it wouldn't have meant every spare penny I have).

Please don't take that as confrontational, I am just trying to explain how I see things.

Where we definitely differ, is that I would much much rather see England win a world cup, and experience that joy and buzz in the pubs, than cheer Liverpool winning any cup.

I admire your Corinthian spirit Keef, I find the most obnoxious vitriolic fans don't tend to come from the area of the team they support, they're easy to spot, they overdo the 'I hate so and so' act to compensate, wearing it like some badge of honour hoping they'll be readily accepted into the fold...

I'm shocked, My undying love for ManU has been made very apparent on the forum so although un-patriotic I will be supporting Barcelona if Chelski fail, I wont support United in Europe even though they are an English club because it would be wrong sorry I just cant help it.

No way Mike! I thought you'd be right behind us. ;-)

Never apologise for being passionate about your club mate, it's a good thing there are still people like you out there, and I wish a few more of them were at our place last night!!

Really sorry mate I just think that so many people dis their largest rivals all season and then support them in Europe when their team has been eliminated, it's a bit false and to be honest. I know it's a little harsh but I am at least being honest I dont want to inflame anything theres no point, I just think that it would be shallow to support them while despising them during the season.

    • Where did I say he did a good job? Yup and Corbyn was very close to Len McCluskey and funded by Unite wasn't he...they're all as bad as each other... Labour have to purge their party of the far-left - they're a disaster. Allan Johnson summed it up so well on election night in 2019....
    • Thank you for the detailed advise @trinidad It is definitely damage we are concerned about. I don’t think Evri would agree to pay the bill to fix our gate or letter box if they were to be damaged as a result of their delivery drivers helper. Our doorbell can be heard from outside when rung so we don’t quite believe the aggressive simultaneous door/letter box banging is necessary. It can be quite a shock it is done very aggressively.  I’ll definitely action the steps you’ve kindly provided along with a phone call tomorrow. I do sympathise with the role drivers have and how busy they are, which is why we tried communicating directly with her but sadly we haven’t succeeded
    • What outcome would you like? Disciplinary action? Not to have the driver back? Retraining? I know there is alot of pressure on drivers to deliver within a set day. if he slams the gate, is it evidence he is causing damage, or is the noise a irritant to yourself? You could put a sign up or buy a signing asking to close the gate gentle???? can you hear the door bell from the door? he might be ringing, not hearing and therefore knocking. In trhe notes section of the be livery page, there is a note section, although there is not 100 per cent these notes would be read as these drivers are constantly rushing.  I did a google search for you, i found this and you can try the envri website Contact Us | Evri   To complain to Evri, you can follow these steps: Contact Customer Service: Call Evri's customer service at 0330 808 5456 for assistance with your complaint.    1 Write a Letter: Address your complaint to Capitol House, 1 Capitol Close, Morley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS27 0WH.    1 Use the Official Website: Visit the Evri complaints page on their official website for detailed instructions on how to submit a complaint.    2 Email or Call for Specific Issues: For issues like missing or damaged parcels, you can email or call 0800 988 8888, which is free to call.    1 These methods will help you effectively communicate your concerns to Evri.   My driver is called anthony, he is brilliant to be honest. I cant fault him.
    • When I have more time and energy, I will look up the actual number of votes cast for each party in that election, rather than the number of seats won. I'm interested to see that you apparently  think that  Boris Johnson did a good job of "leading the country through Covid." Is your memory really that short? I won't stoop to calling Johnson and his cronies names in the way that you seem to think is appropriate for left wing politicians. At least the left wing politicians have some semblance of morals and a concern for people who aren't in some over privileged inner circle and/or raking in money for themselves on the back of an epidemic. I'm not going to open a can of worms on here  by commenting on the disgraceful so called "purge".
