Seeing as I've never met any of you but going by what you post I sometimes find myself building a mental picture of the other characters on the forum. These images are usually fleshed out by tv personalities and characters. Please don't be offended.

Seanmacgagham - A younger David Attenborough.

TLS - Michael Palin but with an earing.

HonaloochieB - A slimmer version of Steven Fry and with stubble.

???? - All four of the young ones.

Dulwichmum - I sort of know what you look like but you remind me of a cross between Nigella Lawson and Patsy from Ab FAB.

Keef - A cool but slightly embarressing dad.

Louisa - A pint size Cruella de Ville.

Michael Palaelogus - A Greek version of Dara O'Brien.

Mockney Piers - Not sure.

Thanks for that BBW, but I'm not actually slimmer than anyone. Spot on with the stubble though.

I initially had Jah down as my dad, because he knew all the local pubs and liked a drink. I then realised he was lots younger, loved his music, and bad habits, so he became Keef Richards in my head.

When Mike P started posting he said he was ginger and had a pink shirt, so I pictured him as a Chris Evans lookalike but with a zanny edge.

Sean thanks for saying I'm cool, I'm sure I'll manage to be an embarrassing dad on occasion though ;-)

Wow, Jah Lush as Bill Nighy is absolutely right (although Jah is younger)- Jah, when they make a movie of your life they will certainly cast Bill.

I didn't know who Sally James was, so I google-imaged her... 'fraid she looks nuffink like me. Nice stockings, though!

    • It's permitted because the council grants an events licence. But if you were to blast music from your back garden for 10 hours a day accross four days, they'd shut you down on day one. There will be a noise plan in place, but it is probably the same as the one for the GALA festival, which dismisses any breach of the agreed noise levels as long as they are brought back within limits witihn 15 minutes. In other words, a breach is never really a breach according to the council. This is why local residents feel exasperated.
    • Congratulations on your win Lady Gooner and thanks again for organising Red Devil.
    • It’s horrendous. I feel so anxious from the constant bass.
    • Other local constituents are likely to be less keen on having an increase in noise pollution. Must be a change in wind direction but Brockwell sounds even louder today on the village side of Lordship Lane.
